  • In the past, even when doing a lot of exercice, my main issue was too much eating, and i think specially due to stress (kid or work most of the time). I need to focus less on the exercice part, and more on the relaxation/ stress management part if I want to attain my goal. So I bought myself a used sauna 2 weeks ago and I have been doing 45min a day follow by cold shower! This is the best thing ever ! I am soooo relaxed after this! Made a big change in my day. I revamped my whole garage gym and made it a realllly nice place for working out AND relaxing ! Very happy about the end result and though I would share.

  • Another day another workout! 30 minute run and a CrossFit type set right after. I have consistently been wearing a weighted plate carrier and a slight incline on my runs, I feel strong. I am excited for continued progress. I am a little nervous about if I can actually get to 225 and what I “the big guy” will look like.

Dude, you’re doing an ahhh-mazing job! It’s great to have a # goal, but also think about the NSVs — how many additional hours you can run around with your kid/s now, how you are a healthy role model for them and can help set them up for a healthy, balanced lifestyle.   • Another thing that I've been working very hard on is setting routines and systems for myself. Between working night shift and being a student, it is very challenging to stay consistent.

    I'm becoming familiar with excel (which will also help me at work) and setting up a daily block schedule, AM routine, PM routine, meal times and a workout regime. Also included a financial ledger and daily/weekly/monthly/yearly beauty regime.

    These are all wonderful tools that have and will continue to assist me and keep me motivated. I can even plan ahead and pack a protein bar for a long 'commute' to a doctors appoint instead of going through a drive thru or smoking cigarettes. So exciting!

    I will eventually integrate into Google calender. If anyone has any other suggestions feel free to share. Always open for suggestions.

I love spreadsheets! They keep me accountable! But it’s whatever works best for each person. One person in a previous bet created a coloring sheet with each of her daily goals - it was beautiful and I think she also got a lot of reward coloring in when she met each of her daily water, step and other healthy goals.

Just joined the Yesvember! I have been on the struggle bus with weight gain, pain from plantar fasciitis, and fatigue. I am officially in menopause. I have been sleeping all the time. Any suggestions for dealing with getting back into taking care of business. I just want desperately to feel and look better. Thanks.

Physical therapy? I know it can be expensive and not everyone has access but if you can get a referral from your primary I would highly recommend it! It has honestly helped me so so much with my back problems and they have been amazing at showing me exercises that I can still do as well as things that will help or hurt my condition!

PR’d on a half marathon yesterday! It’s been 5 virtual half marathons and 21 months since my last in-person race, and it felt great being (masked) back in a supportive, positive atmosphere, surrounded by people with the same motivation. I can feel the same energy here. So, for some choice race poster phrases:

- At least it’s the not the squid games!
