I hope everyone else in this challenge is doing well!

I've had a super busy couple of days, and normally that would throw me into a spiral of eating junk food. Thankfully, though, I have been prepared with food on hand at all times to ensure I have something healthy to grab. I'm already seeing results and I can't wait to see where I am at the end of this challenge!

    Are you all ready for the next challenge?!

    For this challenge, I kindly ask you all to try to drink at least 64 oz of water each day this week (or beyond if you like!)

    Drinking water is such an important aspect of our health. It helps our cells function efficiently, and it can even help us lose weight! Drinking water actually increases the number of calories we burn, and it makes us feel more full. For this reason, it's often suggested to drink a glass or two of water 30 minutes before each meal. That way, you're less likely to eat as much as you would on a completely empty stomach.

    On Friday, I'll create a new post asking who successfully completed this challenge. Then, I'll randomly choose a winner (from those who comment) to be the next winner of a $5 Amazon gift card.

We went to the zoo today and I brought my healthy lunch with me. I wanted to get some food and soda from the concessions, but I decided against it and just stuck to what I brought. Afterward, we ran by the store and I grabbed an unsweetened sparkling water to stop the soda craving. It was another successful day! ♥

    It reminds me of how I sometimes like to stay in my "comfort zone," but then I have to remember that stepping out of it is what truly helps me grow.

I've been really bad about checking in during this dietbet, but I'm staying on track! I've been really focusing on my disordered eating habits (binging is the main one) and I've been eating healthy since the beginning of this dietbet.

I've been working through a lot of cravings and how I relate to food with emotions. Even though I've had a lot thrown at me the last few days, I haven't even so much as taken a nibble of anything that isn't part of my eating. Every day becomes easier and I'm really excited to see how that will show up in my physical changes.

  • Happy Friday, friends!

    The weekend is upon us, which can often be difficult because we often get out of our Monday - Friday rhythm. It's okay to indulge here and there. As my grandpa always used to say, "Everything in moderation!"

    We deserve to treat ourselves sometimes. We are human, after all :)

    In the past, when I would give in and "fail" my diet, I'd lose all hope and just eat anything and everything. But that was the wrong attitude! It's okay to have that little treat here and there and still stay on track!

    What are your plans for the weekend? Does anyone have any special recipes they're making or ways to make weekend exercising more fun? Please feel free to share your plans and any tips you may have! We're all in this together, and your comment just might help someone else feel successful this weekend! :)

I’m looking to try a new way of being active this weekend, and constantly reminding myself that If I eat healthy (no sugar binge) that it makes my body feel so much better and my workouts are so much stronger! I haven’t reached any of my goals since this time last year so I’m trying to really find my determination.

This weekend has been surprisingly easy. I've been eating healthy and haven't been tempted by the foods around me because I make sure I fill up on the healthy items.

Today I had so much energy that I ended up rearranging my living room and dining room and going for a jog with my kids and dog. :grin: I hope everyone is having an awesome weekend!
