I reached my goal for Round 3 and submitted it but it was rejected and my current weight on this site is higher than the weight that was showing on my scales. I don't know why this would happen, I received no rejection notice until I visited the website this morning. Please tell me what to do when a legitimate weigh-in is rejected. Oh, I just found the information about why the photo was rejected....the "appearance' of carpeting too close to the scales....this is a good reminder for everyone to follow up and check their status after submitting a weigh-in...we had a family medical issue that didn't allow me time to look at emails for several days so don't make my mistake. I saw that my initial weight submission was accepted and never looked again. I understand the need to make this game fair, but quite frankly, looking at my submitted photo over and over, I think the reason it was rejected was truly unfair. I'm asking that more than one person, maybe several, take a look at the photo again.

I wrote the weigh in word on my linoleum floor with a dry erase marker instead of on a piece of paper and it was rejected for the word “being added after the picture was taken”. Won’t do that again.

You don’t get the actual “win” one until the whole 36 H is elapsed, everyone has finished weighing and they have the math done.

Before that you get 2 emails, a submitted email and then a verified (or not) email

  • I have been on my WL Journey for over 5 yrs now (these pics spanning the course) but with my 25th Anniversary, my 1st born getting married and the arrival of my 1st grand baby ALL expected before the holidays, this IS MY Yr! Not only did I make goal, I made April's goal too. Which leads me to an Important Question I was hoping someone could answer! ????

    Since I officially weighed in below April's Weigh In, will I still have to Weigh In on May 1st? We'll be in Mexico celebrating our 25th Anniversary and I was planning on packing the scale, but if I don't have to add the 10# to the suitcase, that would be awesome.

Well yes you have to wi because you may have not maintained the loss. They may grant a one time exemption, or you may want to call the hotel you’re staying and ask if there is a scale. Many hotels have tons of things available if you just ask.

Trying to stay positive here, but does anyone else find it incredibly frustrating the way the monthly goals were calculated? I’m sure there is some science behind it or maybe they are just trying to make it more challenging…but why wouldn’t it make more sense for each monthly goal to be an even division of the 6 month goal?
At the end of month 3, I have lost a little over half my ending goal, so I feel like I’m doing the right things and am basically on track. Yet, I missed last month’s goal and will likely miss this month’s too. I know if I stay on track, eventually I will “catch up”, and have been told that as long as I make my end goal, I should at least get my money back, but it’s discouraging to feel “behind” and miss goals. I feel like it encourages people to try quick fixes to try to beat a weigh in, instead of rewarding for being consistent & mathematically on track to the end goal. It was clear to me ahead of time what the goals were and I willingly chose to participate, so I have no problem losing my portion of the pot monthly to the people who DO meet the goals, but I have to keep reminding myself to focus on the end result. Anyone else struggling with the same thing?

I get what you're saying, but trust they have chosen these numbers as an average that works out for the majority. I'm sure it was calculated with scientific data of weightloss trends.

If I'm consistently dieting I lose slowly and steadily. But when I join a transformer having not done anything beforehand, I drop a ton the first two months and then struggle the rest. I manage to stay ahead of the numbers by getting ahead the first month. This game Im just on target for April 1st. So the rest will be the challenge.

Hang in there! Tweak your routines if you're maintaining instead of losing. You can do it!

I’m with you! Several times in the past I met first round and got in my head so much losing the next couple that I didn’t do well the rest of the game. Trying to stay on target and possibly meet up at the end. I much prefer StepBet to DietBet as I can consistently get my money back. My winnings from step bet are basically paying for my DietBet entries this game. At this point, I met 1st month but not 2nd month and while I am down overall I am still over 5 pounds away from this months goal also, which does not seem possible.

Sometimes if I get the munchies at night, I have a decaf coffee and a protein RTD glugged in instead of cream- very filling and all protein.
For a low cal idea, I make a chai . I use unsweetened almond or macadamia milk (25/1/0 per cup) and 2 chai teabags. I also add extra nutmeg, cardamom , star anise and pumpkin pie spice. Optional. For texture I add a T of cream but you could omit. And some sweetener to taste (I use 3 pumps SF syrup)
Microwave milk 2 min with spices. Remove , add tea and steep 5+ min. Extract tea bags and spices, yummy drink , filling negligible calories.
Or the easiest of all. Just add a couple spoonfuls of sugar free Metamucil or psyllium husk to your flavoured water. Stir vigorously. Drink and you’ll be FULL.
