I haven't done a DietBet in ages. I did use it as one of the tools in arsenal to lose 75+ pounds. Then pandemic happened. Before I thought you had to weigh in weekly with the 4 week DietBets. Now it seems it's only at the start and end if you don't get membership. Is this correct? I don't want to miss a weigh in!

That is correct, you only have to weigh in at the beginning and the end unless you are a member

How often do the weigh ins come? I see a banner on the app to weigh in but seems like there’s a long time to complete it. Do you weigh in right away? Or is there a date? I’ve never done diet bet before so not sure how this all works! Thanks!

Those are the extra $5 or so they sneak in for “membership” to encourage you to weigh-in and stay on track & win prizes. You don’t have to do those. You’ll get the a message that the game is ending and you need to weigh in to complete the game.

Shakeology (strawberry flavored) for breakfast.. I mix a hand full of spinach and frozen strawberries.. about a cup of water and blend. Very satisfying

Late to the party, but for me, switching to 2% Greek yogurt was a game changer. I had been eating fat free. 2% keeps me full until lunch.

Discouraged! My body looses soo slow!! I’ll loose 3 and put on 2.
I can barely loose. I’ve been lingering same all week!!! I have to much to loose before the bet!! Anyone else a slow loser? I’m a few days before my period-Sorry no technically I put on the pounds before that!! But come ON!!

I’m trying so hard! 😭😭😩 I feel like I’m getting nowhere!!

  • I did this yesterday to help my relationship with the scale. More so it teaches me the ebbs n flows of my normal weight fluctuations. Which is not linear. It’s a progressive slow downward trend.

Yes. I lose slowly also. It really seems to make a big difference when my mealtimes are. And I have shortened my eating hours to 6-8 hours of the day.

Two questions:

1. Is there a way to watch the live call from yesterday?

2. How do we get notified of the live calls? I never received anything and missed the one yesterday. I see there is a pinned post now with dates, but are there reminders vi email or push notifications I’m missing?

Bummed because I signed up mainly for the extra calls and missed the first one. 😭

When the date and time is posted I put in my phone calendar so I don’t forget. I don’t believe there are any push notifications that will remind you.

Sharon - I saw the post today but I didn’t see it prior to the call. I have the app and didn’t get pinged for any messages from Ilana about it or an email (to my knowledge). I know those dates for the future, but wondered if they would be announce or if we would be notified again of them.

I didn't eat my dinner according to the plate it principles last night. I'm remembering what she said in the book - don't spiral and just remember that you just may not lose as much weight that day. That's ok for me because this is sustainable long term. For me, the no carbs at dinner is tough sometimes. I do spaghetti squash / zoodles and different things but I sometimes struggle with Mexican food. Sometimes I just want a tortilla. I do it most days. Any suggestions?
