I have a question. Why are the pre-set goals so uneven? I may not meet the Round 1 and 2 goals because the loss goals are too high. But for the final 3 months-rounds I am only targeted to lose a total of 2 lbs.

They are most likely taking into account the weight your anticipated to lose. So for instances if your first 2-3 rounds have high weight loss goals then you wouldn’t want to be losing the same amount of weight in rounds 4-6 because that would be unhealthy

It seems to be easier to shed more pounds in the beginning. At least that is how it is for me.

I am off to a great start. My daughter and I are taking a 4 week trip to Europe in late November, so we both joined to get down to our "fighting weight ".

So awesome me and my 7 year old daughter as well are going to Europe in November. I am trying to get down to a healthy weight. Which I consider to be 175. I weigh 230 now. We are going to France for 5 days, Amsterdam for 2 days & Rome for 6 days. We are leaving Mobile, Alabama on November 20th
Wishing you luck on you weight loss. :hearts:

  • N2R5K Week 3 Day 1 done! I am training for a 5KM run and have been struggling a bit, mentally. My brain gets really scared of these longer runs without walking breaks. I have these mini freak outs thinking that I won’t be able to finish, or that I am not fit enough, or that it will be too hard. I find myself stopping every kilometre to calm my brain down. I am hoping that as my body gets used to these distances, my brain will too.
Today, I ran this entire distance without stopping. It took a lot of telling the negative voices in my head to be quiet, and a lot of positive reassurance, but I did it!

I'm the one mentioned above ahah! I started with a couch to 5k plan, and now I run something like 20 miles a week on average. You can totally do it

Joni M.

Congrats on not listening to the negative voices!!

I lost something like 95 pounds years ago, and I've gained back 15. This happens from time to time, but I'm really good at catching it and signing up for one of these! This'll take me back to my fighting weight
