So frustrated. I cant get the scale to move. If I don't do a crazy workout and eat nothing it starts creeping up. I cannot maintain this lifestyle for 6 months!

It might be easier if you come up with a daily baseline calorie range to stay within (most people do around 1500-2000 per day depending on their activities). Then learn a couple foods and go-to meals you can rely on that keep you motivated and happy. I found the more variables I mixed in (counting the macros, attempting unrealistic amounts of or types of exercise, eliminating some foods/banning food groups) was just too much "sacrifice" for me. I have found it's easier to focus on sticking to a basic goal of just eating about 500 less calories than I should be no matter what. If I want to eat some high calorie food, then I do, just eat low calorie foods for the other meals. Last week I really wanted a burger and fries. So that day I ate a low calorie breakfast (breakfast bar and a LOT of coffee), a low calorie lunch (salad with low cal dressing), some low calorie snacks, and then happily ate that burger and fries with glee for dinner.

  • I went to California and somehow gained 7 pounds in 3 days! I was so disappointed and wanted to cry!
    Doing this journey alone is not easy! I haven’t cheated at all and I am on week (4). I have motivation and will power not to give up!
    Some days I just feel lonely on this massive journey. Always taking one day at a time. It is so easy to put weight on and so hard to take it off!
    I’m fat and I hate it! I did accomplish walking a cross the Golden Gate Bridge! It was cold but beautiful
    I have the power to change my life! I just need to remember that every day!

This is my first time too! If you dont get it this round, don't beat yourself up! Just move forward and focus on the next round! I tend to get ahead of myself very easily so I am just trying to treat each of these as a separate bet.

  • With virtual school this fall, the concession stand got cleaned out and donated to the staff. This is right outside my office.😭 I did not eat any. I knew if I ate one, I'd eat 20. Horray for small wins.

My son gets on me all the time. Says do it first thing then you don’t have to think about it again. It’s done! I am not a morning person. So it’s a real challenge for me. Still trying to make it a habit.
