Hey, I made it, everyone, and came in under goal a little bit, but I have to say I’m not proud of how I did it.
Confession: I only ate a banana between Friday and tonight. Drank a lot of tea, water, some kefir, even some hot cocoa, but no food.
NOT what I will do in the next rounds. Balanced, thoughtful eating is my goal through the end of this program.
For a regional leadership program, I had to go a day without food on Saturday to understand what food insecurity felt like, which was uncomfortable, but extending the experience and being hungry, crabby, and getting headaches for almost three whole days to catch up was not pleasant. Definitely not recommended. Lesson learned.
