Can anyone else eat an entire Costco salad kit themselves? I just ate one and 2 links of apple chicken sausage. Happy I just came home and made dinner after a day at the hospital rather than getting fastfood.

Every time! Sometimes I add a bag of coleslaw mix to it so it spreads out the toppings and dressing more and I can get 2 meals out of it for cheaper.

How long does it take typically for the weigh-out photos to be verified? Trying not to eat anything (though I have drunk a bunch of water) until my photos have been verified / in case I have to resubmit.

It all depends on how many people have submitted their photos today. Usually in the past it's been a few hours, but I think the website says it may be up to 48 hours.

Mileseventeen - I just had mine verified (~3 hours) - good luck with yours!!
JT - that makes sense! I suspect more people are submitting today (last time I submitted later so it was verified within an hour)

    “Better in the Waste Than on Your Waist”

    Don’t suck up your kids’ last bites of sandwich or leftover pieces of scram- bled egg because they were intuitive enough to leave them there. You’re not a vacuum cleaner, and it’s better in the waste than on your waist. It's 4 cups coleslaw mix (plain... no dressing) with 1 stalk chopped celery, chopped apple, can of tuna packed in water, with a dressing of 1/4 cup plain yogurt, 2Tbsp white wine vinegar (or whatever vinegar you like), 1 Tbsp olive oil, few dashes of soy sauce, 1 tsp Dijon mustard, garlic powder and onion powder, salt and pepper.

Advice needed! Going to a party tonight and the host/guest are big alcohol pushers. I do like to have a few drinks but I want to refrain tonight. How would you all respond when people are asking “why aren’t you drinking” and keep pushing it. I will have my water bottle with me at all times. Thanks for any advice.

I always stick with a wine glass or cocktail glass with sparkling water and fresh lime or lemon or fresh fruit. It appears as a drink and people don’t really question it.

Here in New Zealand we have dry July where people will abstain from Alcohol for the month as a way of raising money for charity or just for their health. You could say you are supporting a distant relative in New Zealand :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I want to hear from you!

Aside from the scale, what are your biggest wins and proudest moments from the past month???

I want to focus on the Non Scale Victories (NSV) today because while hitting the number goal is great, it’s the brave changes in behavior and mindset that keeps the weight off in the long term.

I’m proud of myself for going out and not ordering drinks or food, which turned out to be totally fine!

I have made my water goal of 72 oz. plus every day for 10 days-- the first time ever in my life. Today I added additional water to my shirt and biked to a pond, swam, dried off with the shirt that I'd originally soaked (that was dry by the time I got to the pond) to wet it again and biked home-- and was happy but sweaty.

1. The scale says literally the same number, but I know I’ve lost inches because I’m wearing pants I wore pre-kids 6.5yrs ago! 2. Funny observation—my bra is looser (and I’m not sad about it bc my girls are too big and are a pain in the neck!)
3. My 6.5yo chose “cotton candy” grapes and red bell peppers on our weekly grocery run as her treat bc “she wants to have strong muscles and bones like you.” I also noticed my kids are drinking more water, too! They really do model your behaviors….
