Hey guys! How are we doing?

Right now I am really focusing on the nutrition side of things as I recover from a knee injury.

Kind of.

You see I was born with extremely loose ligaments, but something I have retained through adulthood. It benefited me as a dancer when I was younger, but I had a lot of joint pain because of it when I gained weight.

Ligaments help keep your joints in place so mine naturally slip around a lot. By building muscle in the gym I was able to stabilize my joints and reduce all pain and slipping.

However since I have had to take so much time off from the gym after my surgery my muscle mass has gravely depleted. My knees have been suffering because of it and after some rest I will REALLY need to work hard in order to regain that strength.

With that said by fallowing my meal plan I have continued to lose weight. Abs are made in the kitchen and people often say the key to weight loss is 80% nutrition and 20% activity.

I stand by this fully. You cannot outwork a bad relationship with food.

Notice how I do NOT say diet, I will never go on a diet. I eat well most the day and work in some of my favorite foods to stay on track. Calories in vs calories out has always been what I preach and fallow.

I switched up my nutrition… definitely cutting back on sugars/sweets. Eating til I’m FULL, instead of what’s on my plate.

I’ve started a 6 week program and am on day 6… very short 10-25 minute HIIT workouts. Sore…

I also ordered some 1st Phorm (I think it’s called) greens!

Hoping the next 2 weeks get me out of this post pregnancy stall I’m sitting in!

  • Had to have an Express breakfast today.. kale, spinach, pineapple, banana, and ginger. Added spirulina for extra benefits. Love to prep these ahead of time and store in single serve ziplock in the freezer to throw in the blender and run out the door
