  • Low carb dinner. Seasoned chicken w/ bell pepper. Ranch mixed with a little bit of Trader Joe’s Peri Peri sauce (has a kick) to dip my peppers in.

  • Low carb Spaghetti Squash w/meat sauce. And leftover chicken drumstick from last night. Did CrossFit class before work, and a 2.27 mile walk during lunch. I am huuuuungry! :) :)

  • Simple low carb dinner. I love simple. Grocery store has Buy 1 Get 1 Free Mix or Match seasoned meats. Cooked up Chicken Drumsticks in the air fryer. (I would be LOST w/o an air fryer!) Cut up a red pepper and spread some low carb Artichoke and Jalapeño dip from Trader Joe’s onto some of the slices. Had a 3rd Chicken Drumstick. Might have the last one as well. ???? Today I did a 3.16 mi walk at a 15:39min/mi pace, and 1 hour CrossFit class, I’m hunnnngry! 😂

  • Lunch: Cajun Shrimp with Hearts of Palm pasta from Trader Joe’s.

    I was rooting for the pasta, but it’s not to my liking, unfortunately. It would have made a great low carb pasta substitution!

Lisa - I have tried Healthy Noodles. It is good! I just have to remember to ask my sister to pick it up next time she goes to Costco (I don’t have a membership right now)

Lindsay - I got mine from Trader Joe’s. I think the texture is great, but the smell gets to me a bit. Maybe that’s why? :joy:

  • This process is definitely frustrating some days. Today I stepped on the scale just to know where I am at before I go out of town for the weekend. Allison says to remove the word "only" from our vocabulary but I can't help but think "I've only lost 1.4 pounds this month so far" when I've been tracking and exercising consistently. Sometimes there are plateaus and sometimes the weight doesn't want to budge no matter what. I just keep reminding myself consistency is key.
    I currently don't have any tattoos but while on a journey to lose weight (for the 2nd time now) and going through therapy, etc. I am thinking of getting "Progress not perfection" as a tattoo - a little ink therapy. All we can do is work on ourselves little by little to be the best version of ourselves.

Super disappointed in my weigh in weight. We had Chinese food last night and I know all of the salt affects me a bit but seeing the number was definitely a big motivation for me.
