Non-scale victory of the week!

We went for dinner last night and I ate healthy AND split the meal with my husband

I should not have eaten the celebratory snack foods.

Try to get back on a healthy sleep schedule, eat what my body NEEDS not what my mind WANTS, get back to daily movement and drink more water!

Non-scale victory of the week!

my non-scale victory was knowing that I was on vacation. I was going to eat the way I wanted to eat and whatever the scale said was what it was. I wasn't going to fret. I was going to enjoy myself and get back at it when I return home

I actually would have liked to work out more while on vacation. I did get 3 days in but that was all

I did not have my daily chocolate fix 4 out of 7 days.

I need to start mentally preparing myself for the upcoming holidays and decide what my choices are going to be. Maybe try to plan some healthier options to make and take with me while still enjoying some of the traditional foods. I know I am well over a week away but for me, preparedness is the key for success.

Non-scale victory of the week!

my most favorite food at a particular restaurant is Cajun seafood fettuccine. We went there on this past Sunday and I opted for salmon vegetables and wild rice!

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I thought I had done awesome... my non official weigh-in the middle of last week was 144lbs. I was over the moon. I worked out steady, ate well to maintain that weight and this a.m. I am up 2.5 lbs. I am devastated...

Non-scale victory of the week!

I made better choices regarding my sugar cravings. I made a pumpkin dip with Greek yogurt and pumpkin puree and used sugar-free Cool whip to top it. I put it on a chocolate rice cake.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I still indulged in Butterfingers that I should not have. I need to get control of that.

What are your goals for the upcoming week?

I need to resist the temptations of the Butterfingers. Maybe if I give into them... one bite size one instead of four or five! I am still aiming to get six or more hours of sleep at night. I will keep on that. My exercise routine is pretty well set I believe, so I will just keep continuing with what I'm doing there.

I did much better with my good choices and was able to not OVER indulge when I did indulge.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Still ate butterfingers, lol. more than 1 in a day. They were bite size but still... I only NEED one, but continued on to 4.

I am still not getting enough sleep, and I still get caught up in the moment of the crunchy, flakey, chocolatey enjoyment of a butterfinger and all willpower dissipates!!! I need to get control of that!
