My home page says the next weigh in is sept 27-28, but I’ll be out of town! From the FAQ’s though, it says only the final weigh in matters? Does anyone know about this?

When do you leave town? You have to weigh in during the weigh in period or you don't have the word and you can't do it.

NSV today! There was a dress on sale that kept calling my name, but there were only two left, one size 18 and the other size 10. I haven't bought new clothes at all since starting to lose weight in May, and my previous dress size was 14/16 depending on the brand. I bought the size 10 thinking even if it doesnt fit now, it will soon! I get home and try it on anyway though, and it zips all the way up! I'm a dress size 10! ☺

I'm baffled. I've only lost 3 pounds all challenge. I walk four miles every day, do a hard workout twice a week, and eat Paleo. Usually with Paleo alone I can easily lose 15 pounds in a month. My body loves it. But this year my weight just won't budge!

It's got to be frustrating, if I did all you are doing I would probably be thin as a pretzel, or dead! Lol, so apparently you need to change it up! Good luck, never give up!

Thanks. It's not terribly restrictive for me since my migraine triggers include several things "off" paleo so it's somewhat self-reinforcing. I do track calories, though not rigorously. On the days I track, MyFitnessPal always shows it looking good, not under or over.

Has anyone here tried Noom? The basic calorie counting isn’t really working for me and leaves me hungry and I thought I would give something else a try. I signed up for the two week trial of Noom yesterday and still undecided about it. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I have done Noom and also follow 2B mindset. I really liked Noom's food tracker and the food colors they follow, which is based on caloried density. It really helped me in assessing my food choices. For example, 2B follows a plate-it method, which I love, but the food categories are generic: protein, carbs (fiber-filled), and veggies. Noom takes it one step further. Chicken and shrimp are lower calorie dense proteins versus steak and cheese. I think we know this already, but seeing it tracked and how it effects your daily totals really helped me. I only did one session of Noom and just carry forward what I learned while still following 2B. I will probably follow 2B for life!!!

  • I've been slacking on my exercise routine. I went out of town last weekend, then didn't do anything for an entire week!

    Once again, I'm behind again for this months weight goal. Ugh! Frustrated with myself.

    But, today is a new day! I did my workout (Joel killed me dead in Liift4 today). I'm going to focus on water as well.

I have no motivation right now to make healthy choices. I buy healthy food at the store, but then I also buy junk. Or I eat out. I have to be in the 190s by the end of the month, which has been my goal for the last 7 months. It's almost like I'm afraid of it. My biggest struggle, though, is to get in my 100 oz of water. I know that would help immensely.

Dana, I have done so many things to drink my water... seems like the only thing that gives me a fighting chance is drinking carbonated water.

Make it a priority to wake up a bit earlier to do the stairs a few times or go for a walk. Make sure you always have water with you. Spend more time outside and away from the food.
