    How's everyone doing? Today is the first day of the second half of the game - it's flying by! Check in with yourselves and be honest about what is working for you and what isn't. Sometimes we need to try new things to figure out what works best :)

    I decided to try a new recipe this weekend and I'm so glad I did! I made these "no-bake energy bites" and popped them in the fridge to grab when I want something quick to snack on. They were pretty simple to make and they're tasty! I'll link the recipe here:

My sense of taste just started to come back tonight - I'm relieved, but at the same time trying to be smart about this and try to use this as a great lesson in mindful eating. Trying to remember to slow down when I eat and really enjoy every bite. Because it wasn't until I lost my sense of taste 3 days ago that I realized just how little joy there is in my life (outside of food!).

Just tested positive for COVID today, and I've completely lost my sense of taste. While I won't be exercising any time soon, I also have no interest in eating, which is an amazing thing!! This has never happened to me!

  • It's Workout Wednesday! What activities are you all up today?

    Need some motivation? Choose from one of these activities:

    -Go for a walk, or hop on the treadmill
    -Lift weights
    -Choose an exercise (push-ups, sit-ups, etc) and do 10 reps
    -Turn up the music and dance
    -Do a 1 minute plank
    -Find an online workout video (YouTube, etc)
    -Be creative, what's an activity you enjoy that you haven't done in a while?

Tasty Tuesday:
Food is very important to me. I need to have a good relationship with it. I love eating and do not want to feel deprived. I am always on the lookout for healthy recipes that also taste good! What's your favorite go-to recipe?

I love a spinach salad with sautéed shrimp, cherry tomatoes, yellow bell peppers, hard boiled egg, and a spicy sweet honey mustard vinaigrette. It's both colorful and delicious!

@Grace, my go to salad is almost the same as yours but instead of walnuts I have feta cheese. I eat this salad almost everyday! It’s super filling, tasty and satisfying. Plus I use Walden’s zero calorie raspberry vinaigrette :heart_eyes::yum:
