Overall, I would say to take it one step at a time. I realized that counting points and being active are things I will have to do for the rest of my life. When you approach it that way, you make it fun and realistic. I don't deprive myself of anything. I just create new habits. And when I want a reese's, I have a reese's. Just not every day. I hope this helps! I rambled. :) Congrats on the wedding!

Are you following any programs? I started with Weight Watchers a little over a year ago and wouldn't do it any other way. It has really taught me how to eat better. There are free programs like My Fitness Pal that help you track calories, but I love WW. The meetings help hold me accountable and I just took one step at a time. I started with packing my lunch every day and tracking everything I eat. WW also has routines that you practice. The one that made a huge difference for me was trying to eat a fruit or vegetable with every meal or snack. That keeps me full so I don't snack on other things. Also, exercise is essential for me. I eat less and want to eat better when I am active. Find a class or an activity that you love and mix it up. I do Zumba and run mostly, but am starting a new class called Body Pump today that I am stoked about.
