I didn’t make my second round 😔 usually this is the time I give up but I am not giving up. On to round 3 😀

I'm glad you're not giving up! It really sucks not to make a goal, but instead of making you feel like giving up it can make you more determined to make the next one! You got this!

Didn't quite make it this round. But trying to stay positive and not give up. Not meeting goals is flat out unacceptable in my mind so it's really hard for me. Feeling like a loser this time but hoping I can turn it around and step up the next one.

You only lose if you give up. Draw a line and carry on.

You can get this next round!

Almost forgot to weigh in. Excited for next month, I'm so close to onederland and it's been 20 years since I've been there.

Eating well is the biggest part of the battle - you got this!

Whoohoo! Twin Mom over here too! My twins are 6 months now so I decided it’s finally time to focus on my health. Good for you for getting started so early! We’re so sleep deprived in those early days, eating healthy will help you so much! And it does get better!!

Does anyone see a prompt to submit the initial weigh in?

I met my goal for round 1 which I'm very happy about but today I've been looking at my personal *final* goal weight which is to lose another 65 lbs and im just feeling negative and defeated and not sure if I'll be able to stick to a program for THAT long. Obviously I didn't gain all this weight overnight so I can't lose it overnight but thinking about this as like a year long journey just feels very overwhelming and exhausting. Im currently on a sabbatical from work so I've been able to focus my energy towards becoming healthier but I will be returning to work soon and im a *STRESS EATER* and really worried about it.

What do yall do when you're feeling down, how do you turn your attitude around and not lose the inspiration? Halp. 😩

I like goals of ten pounds. Take each ten pounds as a goal in itself. Ten is very doable . Don't even put a time requirement on it. Just say to yourself- ten pounds and that it. I can do this. Don't think too far ahead.. make 10 ur goal. Once u hit it. Then go for another 10. Again, don't think too far ahead. Only ten. Tens work. It enough for a motivation and doable for motivation. Forget the other numbers burdening you.

I like to celebrate even the small goals by doing something that makes me feel confident in my skin. It could be dressing nice for the day or rocking some lip stick just to feel good about yourself. I've even went to get a facial when I got a goal. I feel that it helps to stay on track when I feel good about myself in general. Also treating myself with things that don't include fancy coffee or treats.

Hey there WayBetter Kristin!?!?! I think I have made an oppose. I weighed myself yesterday and new I could make it by today but shouldn’t have submitted the photo. Didn’t know I couldn’t submit another one today!! Though we had until today to submit official photo. I made it but am I just that “day late and a dollar short” this time? Or is it that they can use this entry as my entry?????

I'm glad you emailed! They are usually pretty good and will get back to you as soon as they can!

Or go on a desktop, cancel your weigh in and do it again.

If you have been consistently losing weight week by week give ur body a rest day, after your weigh-in . Increase your calories by 10% and don't workout just take a rest day. Do it 1 day to 3 days depending on how many pounds u dropped so far. Let ur body know ur not dying and not starving lol and that everything is really ok 😂 ur body will thank u and fix any hormonal issues it maybe going thru that u have no idea about yet( usually ur body will give u a clue at a plateau, of ok I'm done. I reject this plan now lol) by trying to avoid more weight loss coming sooner or later, that phase will come. But Try to combat that early on before it hits. By doing this now, and ur body will actually give u more pounds to drop in the coming weeks; verses holding on to them for dear life.

Every several weeks I have a high calorie(increase 10%) day or 2 in a row and no 'real workout' for 3 days in a row. and firmly believe in balanced diet of pro, carb, and fat every meal to keep my body and organs happy and hormones happy(I'll stay active but no weight training and dedicated days of specifics during those days) This is all for the sake of trying to stop my body from entering a total freak out zone.

I love my treat day after I make my goal! I started DB back in 2018 and lost about 40 lbs. I've had some medical issues the past couple of years, so I'm back up again, but I'm back to feeling better - yay! So time to shed this extra person I'm carrying around! LOL. The treat days at the end of the month are so important. If I didn't have that to look forward to, I doubt I could stick to it!

Dani FatPTBackToFit

That's awesome Cheryl!! Keep at it! And what's great is you know what works for you :muscle::hearts: that's key, understanding what and how to get where u are going  u will make it to ur goals like that! Woot!!
