Hey friends, Just wanted to pop in and say sorry for my absence this month. I knew before we began our cross country trip full of weddings, births, birthdays, hosting, and travel— lots of travel, that it was going to be difficult to juggle my work schedule.
Many of you said that it was ok, that you wanted to continue with the same group even if I wasn’t as active. I started a new game feeling like I’d still be able to juggle it while keeping up with IG, FB, email, website, book design, DM’s, homeschooling, being a mom, wife, sister, friend, and content creator not knowing all the hidden things this month would have in store.
Like extreme extended family drama. Police calls, arrests, figuring out the ins and outs of filing for divorce, child support, cheating scandals, domestic abuse, and much more. To make it clear, this has nothing to do with Brady and I. But it did involve people very close to me and I was called upon on numerous occasions to be there to help, research, and offer support.
I feel that I owe you an explanation. I’m not simply sitting around socializing all day, neglecting my commitments. I understand people are disappointed, rightfully so but my family will always take precedence and it’s been everything I can do to keep myself together.
I’m running on empty. My energy completely zapped. My heart completely broken. So please, forgive me for not being more active in here these last couple weeks. Next month we’ll be back home and I have no plans to travel again until the Fall.
I plan to keep my head down and shed the remaining pounds I have to shed and will have a lot more time to be present here.
I hope you can accept my apology and know that this was an anomaly.

Tbh i completely forgot i signed up for this challenge. With starting a new job and commuting 3 hours round trip everyday, and now adding on moving. My fitness goals hit the back burner. I’ve only hit 27% of my goal… I would need to lose 8 more pounds in order to win so not sure if I’ll make it. Feeling very defeated this morning :/

This exact thing happened with a different host on here that always has bigger games. I stopped doing her games. Now go I'm coing back to hers not for her but for the community that is pretty active.

Unfortunately I've seen this happen with other people too, as if she didn't know she'd be traveling and having birthdays during this time. They are so active on IG but then their dietbets they barely do anything. Then they will host another one right after this, and another and another.

I am having a way harder time this month than last month losing the weight. I really thought it wouldn’t be a problem, I think I’ve been more strict this month than I was last month. Getting a little frustrated.

Just think of it like this. You body gets used to having all the extra you used to eat. Now that you have been cutting way back from what you were eating before. Your body will hold onto fats thinking its being starved. It needs to re-learn how it's being fed and how it's not starving. I'm working discussion right now but it just takes time.

  • I made it! 🎉
    Ate mostly Paleo, worked out a minimum of 4x per week, and practiced every morning toward a goal of 100 burpees in 7 mins (I did not hit that goal but I’m closer!).

  • Trying to get in one last good last workout before weigh out. Not sure I'll make it. The meds have made me pretty nauseated and eating helps. Ultrasound tomorrow to see if we get the greenlight for IVF transfer on 4/8.
