  • I'm 1lb from goal, which is totally doable if I have a nice sweat session and a workout. This is the lowest I think I've been in 2 years. 170 is within sight!
    But this morning we're going to pick up 3 rescue Scotties to bring to foster homes. One of them is going to my Iowa Mom's house (I'm 800 miles from family, so my ex boyfriend's mom "adopted" me 15 years ago), so no workout until later.
    And 15 of 17 of our donor eggs fertilized so now we wait until Wednesday to find out how many grew to blastocyst stage! (Estimate is 40%)
    (Two of our 3 pups, watching the backyard wildlife)

Is anyone else struggling? I am going to the gym almost every day and eating healthy but the weight keeps holding on to my body 😭 I am going to continue 💪 but I want to know if there is someone else with this problem because it's very disheartening

Consistency and Sustainability. You need to be more consistent over time than you’re not and you need to pick a workout and a nutrition plan that works for you. FOR. YOU. It’s not a one size fits all world- different things work for different people. It needs to be sustainable- this is for your lifetime. Not just 4 wks.

I try to think about if this is the absolute best treat I could have. And if I can think of something better, I make a plan to have it later. I don’t go without sweets, but I try to keep it in moderation - frozen yogurt is a favourite, or dark chocolate. I will try to save ‘room’ for a treat at the end of the day so I keep working towards it!
