Getting frustrated but trying not to get discouraged. I’m still loosing, but too slow to meet my goals for this round. I’m happy I’m still losing, but am not sure how to speed things up. I’ve lowered my calorie intake, am paying closer attention to macros, and increased my cardio. I hate playing the blame my thyroid game, but it’s nice to have a reason besides just failing. Anyone else have an evil thyroid sabotaging this game for you?

Thyroid levels have all come back normal, sadly. Hashimotos here. I do gluten free to help, but think something else must be off in my system. I take adrenal supplements and those seem to help with the fatigue.

I eat gluten free because I am celiac, some gluten free baked goods are higher in calories because they add more sugar..best Gluten free diet,,fresh vegetables, fruit and proteins..try to cut the carbs///lol,,,now that is said I have GF bread, pasta and waffles in my home..just trying not to eat them this week.

Congratulations to all the winners! Although I didn't win, I'm proud that I maintained weight despite several vacations and holidays. As of Monday, I'm back to my healthy eating and will try to make the round 3 goal.

  • Failed round 2 but was really close! That means I still have hope for round 3 because I wasn’t too far from my goal. I joined a RunBet to help motivate me to move more and have been trying to eat better foods. Feeling positive!

Amanda, so far I really like it. I did one where it’s just 4 runs a week for 30 minutes with an 18 min mile pace. That gives me plenty of room to walk if I’m tired. I’m training for a Spartan Beast and need to work on my cardio.

This second round isn't going so well. I gained weight back after the last weigh in! Now I have that to lose plus the round two weight. I got back on board this morning. I started a yoga class and while it doesn't burn so many calories it gave me a new mind set to get back on track.

This round has been hard for me too! We keep having guests over and it’s so hard to eat well.

Stick with it! Yoga is great. If you can, slowly start to add more cardio &/or strength, drink lotsa water and eat clean. Hope you’re already feeling & doing better!

I need some major motivation. In round 1, I stayed exactly the same weight. It was an incredible month (I got engaged and it was my birthday) but now I’m struggling to get back on board with my healthier life choices and I have to lose 6% in the month.

What better motivation than a wedding!? Also set small non food rewards. -lose 5 pounds-get a pedicure/see a movie/get a facial/new shoes.

Reduce the food to 80 percent, try more protain less carbs check the fat!!!
Do moderate sport like biking outdoors to earn thé extra 20% of your food.

I realized the last weeks, nuts are my fat-ankle.

Stay paissoned! Push soft not hard.
