Ok sorry for the long post, I just want to rant a little haha. So for my entire life I've been overweight and struggled with losing weight, but last year I finally managed to slowly but surely lose 10kgs (22lbs). I'm incredibly proud of that but I still have around 15kgs (33lbs) left to lose to reach a healthy weight. But, I have the hardest time losing weight again. For months now I have been maintaining my weight, which is amazing by itself, but I kind of lost motivation or willpower to lose more. Even though I am maintaining, it feels like I'm back to where I started because I've fallen back into old eating habits. I don't cook healthy meals anymore and snack on a lot of junkfood again. I'm maintaining because I've found a love for working out and therefore I don't really gain weight back on. But I don't feel healthy and energized. I know what I have to do to lose weight again, but I'm lacking motivation. It's frustrating because I did lose weight before, like why am I having such a hard time with it now? Has anyone experienced something similar before and how did you deal with it?

@Rox yes I have that too. I know I shouldn't eat unhealthy stuff because I only end up craving it more and more.

@weightloss I think this struggle is also mostly mentally. I know how to eat healthy, I know what I need to change in my lifestyle. The part of just doing it is only difficult for me right now. But I also know that if I have more days where it goes well, it takes less and less effort to stay on track because it turns into new routines and habits. I just have to keep going for it day by day.

  • WATER CHALLENGE! You guys know that I am an advocate for not drinking your calories and drinking your water! Water has personally helped me so much with my weight loss and now I want to challenge you to drink more water! Water has so many benefits including keeping you full, boosting metabolism, & more! I aim to drink a gallon a day but even increasing your water by a glass could help! Its recommended 8 a day so let us know how you are increasing your water goals or when you hit them below! It's a great week to have a great week!

130 oz in today


I spend most of my summers in a tropical super humid town where stay hydrated is a must, so I'm so used to drink a lot of water and actually I had to go down because I move from a all year spring city to the desert and the first summer it was a shock for my body and I didnt knew better, I was drinking around 3 gallons, so now I know, I was just flushing my electrolytes and I was always nauseous with headaches... I move to a different desert lol but now I know how to balance water and salts :) and yes, I'm a huge fan of water, I like to drink water before, during and after every meal, some people let the water for the end, I cant :p I think my average is 1 gallon, or if it's hot 2 ;)

  • I love that dietbet forces us to take pictures, but I’m feeling defeated today. There is a 25 lb difference between these 2 pictures and I don’t see any difference at all. So disheartening. I feel great, but when will the results start to show?? 😩

Your boobs are smaller and there’s more definition in your shoulders. You look less bloated and are standing taller. Keep going!
