I bought a bunch of nuts in a store that roasts the nuts in the back. YUM.
I told the guy I wanted it in 5 different bags.
He looked at me like WHY would I do that? How weird.
I told him that if he put it all in 1 bag, I would eat WAY too much.
In truth, it really should be in TEN different bags. But I couldn't/was embarrassed to ask for that.
Now, the trick will be to only eat 1/2 a bag of nuts each day.
Hopefully, the positive energy here will help me.

Thanks, Megan. So true...even knowing all the rights things to do...what to eat, how much, when,
and what exercises to do, for how long, and how often, it IS still VERY hard to APPLY that knowledge and translate it into reality!
The big deal this past year, was that for the most part, I maintained my massive weight loss of 80 pounds and didn't regain all the weight...
which is unfortunately all too common.
The goal this year, will be to shed those last 30 pounds or so and get to goal weight. This 6-month transformer and one more after that should do it.
12 months to slowly build new good habits of exercise, and tweak the amount of nuts I eat, so that I'm not taking in so many calories seems DOABLE. Especially with people like you and others supporting and encouraging me :)

Fell off the healthy nutrition wagon tonight. We went out for Friendly’s for dinner. It was so yummy! However, I still used up more calories than I took in today. I guess although not a “win”, it wasn’t a loss either. It’s a draw! Lol! Tomorrow is a new day.

I allow myself one cheat / freebie
meal a week. I figure 1 meal out of
21 isn't going to hurt or derail anything.

Slim - it’s always good to be seen by traffic. I use to ride bike on the bicycle trails around here, got up to 57 miles one day. But sadly my biking buddy moved to California. ☹️. Got my husband into it for awhile, but then he got ill and we both got out of it. It was fun when we did it. You’ve motivated me to try to get back into it though. Thanks.

I’m a little nervous about making this one! I joined another DietBet, 6month one, at the beginning of the month so I’ve already lost the initial water weight. I’m hoping this one will keep me motivated to get through round 2 of the other game! And I’ll actually be losing fat weight by the end of this game.

Just finished my first day of the second week back at the gym! Motivation is holding up so far :-)

Down 16 pounds so far and...I have TWO job interviews today. I’m feeling positive and charged and ready for the world! A little self confidence goes a long way.

Today was my second trip to the gym this week. It's the first time I've done that since January.

I've been fat my entire life and I've tried to lose weight before but I've always allowed myself to be sidetracked after a couple months. I'm determined not to give it up this time.

Gym day #3 ✅ Same thing as before: 65 min on treadmill and then stretching.

My gym is having a raffle. Do 40 min exercise a day for four days in a week, you can get a ticket each week this month. Then you can win a bunch of gym goodies at the end of the month. I’m aiming for 4 tickets! 😆 The weeks run Tuesday to Monday, kind of weird but that gives me time to get in #4 on Monday!

I’m a nurse, work 12 hour night shift on weekends, Th-F-Sa. Lucky to be on call last night so I could fit in the gym today.
