Non-scale victory of the week!

I took it easy, like I wanted to but stayed reasonably on track. I took it easy on myself when I did go outside my plans. I’m resisting long term catastrophising and still lost weight.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I’ve not moved as much as I could.

Non-scale victory of the week!

Ate my home-made lunch instead of caving and going to Dominos with other half.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Definitely sleep - let my sleep routine slip which has meant I’m craving quick pick-me-ups

What are your goals for the upcoming week?

To stay as focussed as possible, given a big family celebration meal and two days staying in London, but not to give myself too hard a time about what I eat. I’m well under my first weigh in weight so don’t need to be 100% consistent.

Long-term goal weight

78.5 kg

What do you find most challenging in reaching your long-term weight loss goals?

I have a tendency to go too hard and too fast - I put on and lose weight very easily, so my challenge will be about maintaining a healthy mindset, not beating myself up about eating some chocolate now and again or obsessing over every ounce that goes on or comes off and enjoying life to the absolute limit while practicing some reasonable moderation. Reaching my goal weight is not the be and end all of life. This is neither a marathon, nor a sprint: it’s not a race at all. This is just daily life :)
