Non-scale victory of the week!

Did not ‘stress’ eat!! Dropped my son off for his first sleepaway camp on Sunday, and have stayed on track food wise

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Exercise could have been better...more walking this week instead of my typical HIIT (alternating cardio and strength training), but I’m not sitting still...chugging along!

Non-scale victory of the week!

With school over for the kids, I’ve felt super motivated the past couple weeks, and my non-scale victory has been NOT stepping on the scale at all. Focusing on how I feel, and getting my workouts in, mindful eating, meal prep. I also upped my weights this week...YAY!!

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Water, still having trouble with the water...time to set an alarm for myself, or get one of those big jugs for the fridge to visualize how much I need.

Keep it up, and DRINK MORE WATER! Goal for my next DietBet is to check ahead to be sure weigh-ins don’t coincide with my cycle

Non-scale victory of the week!

Fit into my fave capris!!!

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Drink more water...gosh this is the hardest thing to do! I don’t really like regular water so buying sparkling water, and just pre-ordered a Sparkel (carbonates water with fruit in it...yay). Won’t get it for awhile, but definitely looking forward to that helping with my water intake without all the darn cans.

Non-scale victory of the week!

I thought I did really great all around this week, with balanced eating and exercise. Super disappointed to have it all sabotaged by a few drinks and 1 heavier dinner, plus my monthly bloat

Non-scale victory of the week!

Super proud of myself for maintaining balance during our busiest month of the year. Another dance comp weekend, and I planned ahead by getting a room with fridge and micro so I could bring our own food instead of relying on finding healthier restaurant options (because let’s get real, my willpower just isn’t there yet, lol). Fruit, veggies with hummus, leftovers from home, shakes, bars, free hotel breakfast had boiled eggs..yay! Also, my pj pants are falling down, so needing to tie them now...double yay!!

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Strength exercise. Plenty of cardio just from all the stairs running back and forth between theatre balcony and lower level dressing room, plus doing my HIIT cardio, because it doesn’t take much time. Strength training involves more time commitment, so need to fit that in.

What are your goals for the upcoming week?

Get on a more rigid schedule...get back to tracking things for accountability. I’ve been pretty good at watching myself, but this is the stage where I can lose track of the ‘Just a little treat here an there’ and they really add up. Still will treat myself, but tracking them is key!

Non-scale victory of the week!

Enjoyed my all-inclusive weekend away for my shampoo side-hustle training (engineer that also sells shampoo, lol), but didn't go overboard and most importantly, didn't throw in the towel altogether!! This is HUGE for me!

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Realistically, I could have done everything better

Non-scale victory of the week!

Self control!! Even though the past couple weeks have been ridiculously busy with kids’ sports, gardening, etc. and I haven’t put in as much ‘measured’ exercise as I would like, I’ve kept mindful of food intake. Normally, I would resort to take out or prepared foods. With this past weekend being a long weekend, normally that would spell trouble for me, but since hubby and son were away fishing, I was able to plan ahead and eat well. Same for the crazy 3 days of dance recital weekend...brought healthy foods and snacks. As mentioned, minimal ‘measured’ exercise, but plenty of gardening (hauling pails of compost and soil) and bike riding with the kids!

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I could have made the time for ‘measured’ exercise. I was active in other ways, but a true workout really makes me feel accomplished, so looking forward to the May craziness and travel being done!

What are your goals for the upcoming week?

Away again this weekend, but with meals provided...fingers crossed for healthy choices. My goal is to MAKE those healthier choices and maintain a mindful attitude toward food. Make the time to exercise when I’m not traveling, and prepare ahead for travel snacks, etc., to avoid impulse eating (which generally leads to poor choices).

Non-scale victory of the week!

I was away Wed-Sat for my daughter’s dance competition and planned ahead! Instead of eating out, I was sure to book a room with a fridge and microwave...brought some homemade frozen dinners, fruit and veggie trays, shakes, bars...even some unsweetened iced tea (which I love) so I wouldn’t be tempted to grab a pop or Starbucks on the fly, lol. I did however, still indulge in things that were worth it...high tea with my daughter (scones and treats too) to celebrate her upcoming 7th birthday, and dance family dinner at the Mandarin (indulged within reason)...felt like a good balance

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I actually didn’t eat enough in general...planned to start with a protein iced coffee with fruit first thing in the morning, then a shake or bar mid-morning, but things were more hectic than anticipated, and found myself just not getting that shake in. I also didn’t exercise while away...since it was only the two of us, I just didn’t make it a priority (different if hubby was there, to stay with her while I hit the fitness room), but we did have a good afternoon of walking/sightseeing on Friday. Not enough to make up for over 4 hours sitting in a car each way, but something

What are your goals for the upcoming week?

Another crazy week ahead with hubby and daughter’s birthdays, dance recital (plus my parents visiting from out of town all weekend to attend) and the kids’ fun fair at school. Goals include not overindulging in the cookies and cakes I need to bake, and to eat properly, get my exercise in. Gonna be a tough week, but I’VE GOT THIS!!

Non-scale victory of the week!

Increased the amount of running vs walking during my treadmill HIIT, and upping the weights on my upper body weights.

What are your goals for the upcoming week?

Going away for the weekend for daughter’s dance comp. Bringing food/shakes and planning to stick to my healthier eating, but also enjoy some meals out...making healthier choices.
