Slow and steady repetition, be in it for the process and feeling healthier not the end goal. Pay attention to your macros ( i use an app). Its a marathon not a sprint.

After fluctuating in the 210-220 range for over a year, I’m finally in ONEderland and .5 lb from this DietBet’s goal weight! I went back to basics by measuring food, counting calories, stopping mindless eating, tracking water intake, and adding an afternoon walk with the kiddos.

Yesterday I posted about this weird sudden drop on the scale - just wanted to thank everyone for their responses! Also, got on the scale today and it was what I’d expect. 209.5, which is just a half lb drop from day before yesterday.
I have no idea what happened with that sudden 210 to 206.5. So weird.

This was so weird. I have been 210 for well over a week, then all of the sudden today the scale is saying 206.5 - I checked the scale - it’s working, I don’t understand this. Has anything like that happened to you? A sudden drop?

I struggle with finding high protein & healthy snacks “outside the box” (protein powder, jerky, etc are my typical go to’s). Anyone have recipes or quick, healthy snack ideas to shake things up?!

HB eggs, protein balls (PB, oats, chia, etc.), and hummus. Cheese is obviously another good one if you eat dairy and aren't as concerned about the fat.

I didn’t meet my goal thanks to a conference I attended that threw me off track. 😩 overall though, I DID lose 5lbs and I’m happy. This bet really really helped. Day 1 was good. 2 hard boiled eggs for breakfast, some Brussels sprouts, rice, steak and peppers for lunch. A protein shake for afternoon snack and instant loss turkey burger patty with salad for dinner. Got 10,000+ steps in and 60 mins of hot yoga which really kicked my butt.
