I’ve really struggled this month. With Memorial Day and then multiple parties, I gained 4-5 lbs on top of my starting weight. Even though it’s been hard to keep my motivation up, I’ve kept at it. As of today, I’m 0.6 lbs away from goal.

Because the scale hasn’t always been in line with the work I’ve put in, I’ve tried to focus on some NSVs. I can now wrap a regular bath towel 1.5 times around myself. I used to not be able to wrap it around even once. I used to use a huge beach towel as a bath towel. I’ve also found that I sit differently. I’m crossing my legs more because it’s so comfortable now.

Awesome. The scale is a tool, but often doesn't tell the whole story. The bath towel says more! Congratulations!

I remember when I lost weight the first time, (many years ago) I had the same feeling with the bath towel! Congrats!!

For my last week, I increase my water, lower carbs, increase sleep. I didn't win my first dietbet, but benefitted from the posts and healthy choices it had me making. It was a good investment...cheaper than 1 month at the gym!

I do it! I do the 16:8 version. Fast from 6p-10a and eat from 10a-6p

iF is awesome. It been the easiest change for me and made the biggest difference. I personally do the 16/8.....I end my fast 10/11am an start 5/6pm. So I basically just sip on water and coffee until 10 am. I was a huge breakfast person. Like I would get sick if I didn’t eat when I rolled out of bed. But it hasnt been bad at all. I barely notice. It’s the simplest thing to change IMO.

Does anyone else get into a mood where all food is unappealing? I'm struggling with what to have for lunch or dinner because I cant think of anything that sounds good. It's so weird to go from boredom eating anything in sight to not being interested in food

When I get this way I either do a little fast since nothing sounds good anyways or I just make a meal for pure nutrients....only for my health.
