Hi there. I hope everyone's 1st week is going well. Just popping in to see what my 1st month's goal was, as I forgot. I've learned over the years not to dwell on the numbers too much. My approach is going to be gaining health, losing weight, toning up. I work in healthcare and one thing I've noticed is mobilty is crucial for longevity. So my true aim is to make myself as mobile as possible. I've notice a real decline in my flexibility, so that is my first concentration (there will be others further into the process). I find slowly making changes works better for me than an all or nothing approach. I lost 100 lbs that way and gained 40 lbs back because I switched gears (joined CrossFit and became strict Paleo) and it was a recipe for failure for me personally (it works great for others!). So Mediterranean diet, intuitive eating, listening to, and moving, my body. Slow and steady! Good luck everyone! I hope we all thrive, and make positive changes. ❤

I’m planning on working on my mobility and flexibility as well. I used to volunteer at a retirement home and it scared me how much freedom you lose physically as you get older. I’ve been starting my days with some short stretching routines and may possibly add in some yoga pretty soon. Slow and steady! Best of luck to you, let’s do this!
