Yesterday the power went out. My family spent the whole day watching movies and eating carbs because I wouldn’t let anyone open the refrigerator because the food would spoil. Everyone complained how tired we were last night even after doing nothing all day. What we eat definitely makes a difference in how we feel. Today is going to be a veggie/protein day for sure.

My daughter who is the same height as me and is 13 is the same weight as me. As the primary caregiver, I feel guilty I have taught her bad habits. I talked with her and told her our whole family needs to make changes. Her brother is very thin but that doesn’t mean healthy. We went online and found some new cookbooks for some inspiration.

Yes I think framing it as healthy eating is better than losing weight. Kids that young can get wrapped up in their weight easily and then that carries on with them.

Good for you!!! Same here. Trying to teach healthy habits. The instant loss cookbooks are great! We talk about eating real food and fueling our body. Being strong, healthy, well is the goal. I’ve tried talking more about how proud I am of progress, how good I feel when I work out and what I do love about my body — kids listened. I stopped being so negative when I realized the self defeating talk can be passed on too.

I went to the dentist yesterday and my hygentist lost 42 lbs doing keto since January. It was definitely inspirational.
Does anyone know if there are keto friendly bagels out there?

I’m setting a goal to post Monday through Friday so I stay active in this game.
My struggle- I have figured out how to lose weight, I can’t figure out how to keep it off. I need permanent life changes, that is my focus during this challenge.

I am the exact same way. I lose the weight but then it creeps back on as soon as I start making bad choices with my food.

Hi gang!

I did a transformer the first half of this year, baaarely squeaked it out, then put on about 10 pounds in a month. Ugh. So, here I am again. We can do this!

I'm fairly new to Beachbody on Demand and I'm starting liift4 today.
