This is the first time in my life where I am held accountable with being able to see my money on the line. I’ve been able to lose the weigh and keep it off. This is truly amazing and rewarding. I’m so stoked to win this diet bet I’ve worn every round so far and I excited to not only finish but restart another diet bet to continue keeping me accountable.   • This is one of the best salads I’ve ever had. I was super excited because it’s the first time I ate at Portillo’s. Unfortunately I thought 550 calories included dressing. Oops! It was 800 calories total, but worth it I think. Still under my calorie goal for the day. But that was a huge portion. Hopefully the scale is nice tomorrow. I had a 3.2 pound weight gain from yesterday to today😭

Your weight gain is likely water retention due to salty food. Eat clean today and drink LOTS of water to flush that salt out - and the water with it.

Weigh in ends at the end of Aug 2, PST, so you have time.

I retain water like crazy if I eat salty foods. I can retain up to 2-3 pounds. Definitely drink water like crazy. I like to put lemons in my water if I have them available.

Someone at work called me tiny today. It took me a while to process that. As someone who is 5’11’’ and mostly been overweight throughout life, I have never actually been called tiny lol. This was just the thing I needed to continue to have me push through!

Really struggling to be good today. I had a cheat day yesterday. Work has been extremely stressful lately, and money has been a stressor as of late as well. I want to indulge so badly. What do you guys do in these situations? Normally I am pretty strong, but I feel so weak right now.

I haven’t cut anything out. I plan my meals, I don’t consider any of them cheats, and I make sure I’m eating foods I love, but not overeating. Don’t deprive yourself, just make smart choices. Planning helps me, I couldn’t have lost weight without it.

Thanks everyone! After a day of snacks, ice cream, and crying (cliche!) I am back to my better eating habits. I think ultimately I needed to splurge in food, but I jumped back on the diet and am feeling slightly more calm
