Non-scale victory of the week!

I started a new weight routine with my trainer (aka my dad). I’m disappointed because the weight loss has slowed down even though I’ve gotten extremely strict with my diet. I felt like cheating yesterday but I didn’t. I went to BBW and had 3 carbs of wings, celery and blue cheese. It felt like a cheat meal! I skipped the onion rings and fries that my family ate. Tonight I didn’t even have a bite of the Publix fried chicken skin. Pretty sure that’s a first!

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I was extremely strict this week tracking my carbs. I did my weight workouts and yoga. I pretty much nailed it.

Non-scale victory of the week!

I was able to walk faster and at a higher incline on the treadmill with less fatigue on my first time back since pure barre. It’s encouraging to see the improvement on something I hadn’t done in a while, because the incremental improvements from regular Pure Barre workouts are had to see daily.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I ate calories that were not nutrient dense.

I ate movie theater popcorn and I still lost weight. I guess this is a step toward balance, but it still felt like cheating.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I stayed within my macros, but I could have made better more nutrient-dense choices.

Non-scale victory of the week!

I ate an ice cream cone and it made me sick. I’ve never eaten so consistently healthy that unhealthy food becomes abnormal before.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I could lower my starch high intake. The journey between 160lbs and 120lbs is the most difficult for me. I’ll need to really tighten up my diet from here on out.
