I need some serious advice!

I have come to discover my extreme need to eat when I'm 'bored' or not doing much to occupy my mind. When I'm home, it's easier to eat my meal and move on to other things. But at work I find (not that I'm bored at work, lately it's just data entry and formatting documents - less mindful activities so to speak) I feel like munching, or feel 'hungry'. I know the food I packed should be enough food but I still want more.

My question is this: what do you do to combat such a craving - the fake hungry one? How do you keep your mind occupied/distracted when the activity you are up to isn't enough to preoccupy your thoughts? How can I combat such an engrained habit??

I'm currently trying one thing I hope will help to change this negative habit: not eating before 7am. I'm up at 4am and at work by 6am everyday (work 1hr away from home). By waiting to eat breakfast at 7am I am not starving by noon when its lunch time and therefore not eating 'two' lunches to keep me satisfied by the end of day. What other advice/tips/methods work for all of you?

Mindless eating. Instead of grabbing a bag of chips. I actually count out the number of chips in a serving and slowly eat them. This helps me stay accountable.

My biggest roadblock is always mindless snacking. I work from home and every time I get bored or stressed I reach for a snack no matter when I last ate or whether I’m hungry.

I switched from regular shakeo to vegan and then back to regular shakeo and I was 168/167 last Saturday. I was 171 this morning and I’m afraid it may have went up today. My goal is set at 172.

Yesterday I doubled up and did two workouts. I did Total Body Badass and Free Flow. Also while my daughter napped I walked on the treadmill for added cardio

I have a problem with this quote (personally) as it is the mantra of the eating disorder world. I ate dessert last night. Did it taste as good as skinny feels? Well no because taste and how "skinny feels" are not comparable. It tasted amazing and skinny felt awful by the way. I always felt I was fatter than I was. Now I am strong and fit and don't hate my body. It's amazing to look at changing it from the context of loving it.
