Making my meal plan for this last week and still have 2 lbs to my goal! What are your go-to weight loss dinners that are also tasty?!

Great post, got some good ideas from this!

We love making cauliflower rice stir fries or chicken parm zucchini boats

  • Back to reality after an emotional weekend with my daughter getting married, having family in from out of the state and out of the country. I maintained my weight thanks to packing salad and veggies for all the get together a that happened since last Thursday. Yes I had a few drinks and ate dessert at the wedding but the rest of the time I made sure I drank water and had my veggies. The hardest part is getting myself moving again. Yesterday I worked out for 15 mins because my body just wasn’t into it. Today I pushed myself and did a full work out and now I am ready to slay the rest of the day.

Hey all. I’ve been struggling the last 15 months. My last successful weight loss was over a year ago with one of Ilana’s DietBets so I’m back (at my highest weight ever 😢) to try again. Anxiety meds and peri menopause seem to have changed my appetite and I just need to get it under control. If anyone has advice on appetite control Lmk!

When I read Ilana’s book, it gave me great ideas for when I was hungry. Water first, veggies most. Having raw veggies on hand and Bolthouse Ranch is my go to. My hunger fades so much quicker when I grab veggies than when I used to grab a sandwich!

Erin A.

Love the Bolthouse salad dressings!

I agree water will help curb some things. Or if there is a time of day you snack can you replace it with a walk, hobby, etc.

  • Two weeks ago I was crying because the scale wasn’t moving, and I knew I was doing everything right. Two weeks later, I’ve not only met my DietBet goal, I’ve exceeded it by 2.2 pounds! This will be my first DietBet I’ve won. I’m so excited! 😁❤

Awesome!! Go Lauren!!

Congrats!! It takes a lot of motivation, planning, delayed gratification, lack of sugar/alcohol, and stars aligning to be successful-especially for those of us who are over 50

  • Anyone else struggling? I admit I didn't jump right in on day 1, my mindset has been all over since my daughter was diagnosed with leukemia but the last 2 weeks I have really dialed it in, I've been drinking 80-140 oz of water a day which 80 is my goal, I have been following the plate it method, I have been working out consistently, yet the scale isn't moving. I'm halfway to my goal but still have 3 lbs to go. I feel like being unable to sleep is holding me back. Picture of my beautiful warrior for attention. She loves her healthy foods and helps me because she always chooses veggies most. After every lumbar puncture when she can finally eat for the day, her favorite food to eat is broccoli which is what she is eating here in the picture.

A fitness watch that doesn't require an apple or android device to connect to. I have android and can't use an apple watch because I have no apple products.

  • Happy Tuesday!

Remember that your palate is fully capable of changing according to the foods you choose to eat. Your cravings will noticeably subside, and foods you used to enjoy will soon lose their luster. Nothing is better than how the right foods make you feel - that feeling lasts and tells your brain to crave those foods instead. Veggies are by far the most satisfying thing for me to eat! I literally feel more alive during and long after!

What are your favorite veggies?? And what do you not crave anymore??

I love the frozen, seasoned brussel sprouts that I can just toss in the microwave. Not as wholesome as making your own, but they are fast, tasty, and reasonably healthy.

Cathy E.

I’m loving your broccoli and spicy Mayo, couldn’t believe I put this in our little convenience fridge at our hotel last week on vacay. I had a great trip ate other things I enjoyed and had a no gain week!!

So we had a holiday in Italy today and between today and yesterday there was too many treats 😅 Italians love their food that’s Forsure and love to share it! My celebrations were at work (I work 6-7 days sometimes doubles in the busy tourist season) so I could of planned better and brought myself some meals to not treat as much, that I learned for next time. I did track everything I ate and drank. I definitely felt all the treats catching up to me. I have a sensitive stomach and once I started doing 2b really strong my stomach acidity is almost never! As soon as I treated 2 days the tummy acidity was back. Tonight I decided for dinner to make a veggie bake, multitask clean and bake my veggies. for protein I just made an eggwhite omelette. This is my go to when I’m lazy or low energy. Today I am moving on from my treat moment and celebrating my wins as I ate a clean plate it dinner, had dinner and done by 830, got my apartment back in order and meal prepped myself 4 hard boiled eggs. I really need to kick it in to high gear to win this bet and my goal this week is more water and dinner and done earlier.

Yes I love this! I had a treat day yesterday and feel the same way! Not discouraged just back on the wagon. You got this!
