    Time to put ALL the challenges together to create the FINAL CHALLENGE! Here it is and it has 3 parts:

    1. Water-Drink at least 64 oz. of water 5 days this week.
    2. Fitness-get at least 30 minutes of exercise 5 days this week.
    3. Nutrition- 5 servings a day from the fruit/vegetable group, 5 days this week.

    **On Friday there will be a post for you to comment under if you completed the challenge. The deadline to report in is Saturday 12:00 PM (noon) PST. The prize drawing will be held on Saturday shortly after that, for the $40 Amazon gift card or PayPal cash.

  • The 3rd challenge is the Nutrition Challenge

    Here is the challenge if you choose to accept:

    *Eat 5 servings a day from the fruit/vegetable group, 5 days this week.

    It can be all vegetables or any combo of both. What is a serving? For the purpose of our game we will use the American Heart Association definition: Vegetables: 1 cup of raw leafy vegetables (about the size of a small fist), 1/2 cup of other vegetables or 1/2 cup of vegetable juice. Fruits: 1 medium fruit (the size of a baseball); 1/2 cup chopped, cooked or canned fruit; or 1/2 cup juice.

    One suggestion, but not part of the challenge: Please post at least one picture of a healthy meal you eat this week. It provides great ideas for everyone in our game! And remember to make healthy food choices in other food groups but we are not measuring those for this challenge.

    I will ask at the end of the week starting on Friday if you completed the challenge. You will need to click on comment below that post and report in there. You will have until 12:00 PM (noon) Pacific Time on Saturday to report in. I will then put all the players who completed this weeks challenge into our drawing for $30 in bonus cash!

  • Exciting day over here. I use a scale called Shapa which gives you a color every day... I officially moved to teal which means losing a little from green (which means maintaining)! Goal is to get blue soon (full out losing weight!). Very exciting day here!!!!

Ive been doing The Firm workouts since 1987. I love them because they are a mix of cardio and weights, but they are choreographed in a way that eliminates boredom.
