Well done, despite not feeling like you're totally behind yourself mentally! The body will be detoxing, that'll explain why your stomach is feeling off. I went through a detox period when I cut out processed, sugars, dairy and wheat products. My symptoms were mainly with headaches etc though. Keep on keeping on!

I also calorie restrict and went through the same thing you are! I learned that I was actually restricting too much so I actually upped my calorie intake about 200 calories per day and I'm losing more weight! Your body goes into starvation mode and hangs onto every drop of fat if it thinks it is not being fed properly, so eating more helped me overcome this (who would have thought?!) I am excited to hear how carb cycling goes because I've always wanted to try, I've heard it's crazy effective! Good luck on your journey, you've got this! :)

Fitbit Challenge G.

Welcome Hailey! Vegan shared some very good ideas below. For me I had/have to be very disciplined with my food choices. Some ppl think my diet is very boring because I eat nearly the same thing each and every day - but that's what helps me be successful. I try to take Sunday afternoons to plan and prep out my lunches and I drink a protein shake for bfast. Those are a couple of things that have helped me along this journey ;) Hope you enjoy the game and PLEASE pop in and let us know how you are doing!!


Weekends are hard for me too! The biggest difference for me was just to start planning ahead for treat meals and socializing. Before I even step in a restaurant I have made a mental plan for what I am going to eat and drink. And even if I go over that, I try to make it a small overindulgence. Like I might have 2 beers instead of 1 at happy hour, but I don't let myself give in and eat a whole pizza if I was only planning on having one slice. Find what works for you!
