I swore i wasn't going to eat extra treats after winning round 1, but here i am... my co-worker finished her last round of chemo yesterday and we had a fun pink party all day at school today. I think I ate a bit too much sugar since I now have a stomach ache. I joined another bet this morning to keep myself accountable! Going to try a 21 day sugar fast!

I made it for round one, but only just! Really was down to the wire! Whew! I need to pay more attention to my timing and I plan to use the weekly weigh ins to help! Good luck with round 2!

It is amazing what stress does to your weight. I had made goal weight last week. I lost my Dad on Saturday and then at weight in today I was up a pound. My Dad was almost 84 and lived a good life and now he gets to be in heaven with my Mom.

Guys, I’m so very excited to say that tonight, at least, I’m weighing in at my goal weight for this 1st month!! Ive been incredibly discouraged that, due to chronic health issues, I can’t work out the way I used to when I wanted to be more attentive to my health and body weight, and I’ve been trying to not let that discouragement sabotage my current food journey or kill my motivation to move at all… so to see such tangible proof on the scale is very encouraging, and proves to me that my efforts are not futile! Must trust the process! 😊🙏

I've gained weight but I'm not freaking out. Since starting my bets we have started finding new fun healthy recipes. Now if I could just be consistent with my dang workouts...
