I finally made goal weight this.month. mainly by lifting kettle balls and using one of those thigh things while watching. Tv. Instead of eating

I’ve read some good things about eating low carb (<20g net carbs) twice a week for weight loss. Has anyone else tried this method?
Curious if it has worked for others! I would like to add it to my current strategies (CICO and IF).

I can't do keto because I love carbs too much. Low carb is a way to get your protein and nutrients but limit sugar. It's the best!

Thanks all! I have seen some amazing results from folks on Keto! I don’t think it’s the right diet for me, so hopefully this will be a good middle ground. I’ll keep you all updated!

  • Yesterday I got my workout from my trainer in and this morning I've done my run! So far I'm four days of exercise for the work week!

    Part of it is due to just motivation and fun, part of it is the cookies I had. ;) Hope you all are well!

Hi everyone! One of my biggest struggles in coming down from what I can only describe as “easy” January motivation, is new and exciting healthy meals. I need some inspo! What’s your go to yummy healthy meal helping you through this challenge? I don’t limit anything (no Keto, low carb, etc) so anything goes! Just need some creativity :)

I’ve been eating a lot more fish! No recipes in particular but fish is so high in protein and low in fat that it makes a lot of meals healthy! I made a lemony bean stew with scallops that I got from the NYT cooking site that I LOVED

The last two weeks have not been great. It started Valentine’s Day with a 3 course meal and a bottle of Prosecco .. it all went a bit downhill from there.

I started this week with 2lb to go to my goal this month! Quite a steep hill to climb!

So I’m going back to myfitness pal to track everything. I normally do this for 2-3 days and then get bored.

Does anyone have any tips for accountability in it and also hacks to make it easier - I’m a lazy calorie tracker haha

Snap a pic of your food to remind yourself to tack it. Then you can track it later when you have time

When I wake in the morning and I’m not quite ready to get out of bed, I track everything I’ll eat that day. Also the recipe builder using the webpage is so easy! Save meals you eat often to track faster. I’ve been on the app longer than I’d like to admit, but that means all my recipes and meals are easy to track there! I’ve been on ww for a year now but still use fitness pal to track some calories for the recipes I make so I can stay realistic (because “zero point” foods still have calories....)
