I'm trying really hard! I'm following an anti inflammatory diet, lots of veggies, clean protein, healthy oils, herbs spices. I'm sprint training 4x /week with calisthenics outside at -28degrees C. Weekends are for yoga.I'm sleeping better, but not perfect, trying to find moments to be in a parasympathetic state. My gut feels amazing, my inflammation is very slowly getting better, but my weight won't budge! I did a body composition and my percent fat actually went up!!! Perimenopause and stress is frustrating! But I know I'm somewhat getting healthier.Hopefully my weight will drop soon! Consistency they say is the key!

I can definitely relate with you. For all the effort I have put in I would hope to see a bigger loss. But I am 51 now and in menopause for a couple of years and trying to be patient with myself. But like you, one amazing thing I have noticed from focusing on anti inflammatory eating is that my knees are no longer screaming going down stairs. I am so grateful and that is enough to keep me motivated. Hang in there! We got this

The first two weeks were awesome. I reigned in my eating, met my water goal daily, and went to the gym 4 days each week (as planned). Then week three hit and so did the stomach flu. I’ve been down for 3 days now and missed 2 walks at the gym. Hoping to get back on the horse soon!

It has been very challenging to eat properly with a cold weather. Also, I had not been able to go to the gym. And he has been very cold and I want to eat hot and heavy things. Definitely not a cold salad. I didn’t lose that much but I’m happy that I didn’t gain. That’s a big win in this weather. I hope to have a better week. Thank you all 🙏

Cold weather makes it much harder! I've been doing soups and stews and drinking lots of tea with pear juice to sweeten it instead of sugar.

Down 2 lbs! That's huge for me with my crazy schedule. Lack of a routine and sleep schedule is interfering. But im still doing what needs to be done.

I think I am finally starting to feel a shift in my body reluctantly succumbing to my steady, consistent small changes I have made in the last ten days to my diet and eating habits. 😅
Sometimes it is hard staying motivated when we don’t see immediate results but I have been around this block long enough to know to be patient! Keep trucking everyone.

  • I was in a bad car wreck that almost claimed my life it caused arthritis in my spine and because of the pain and challenges I lost most of my muscles im trying really hard to stay motivated and exercise which is why I joined. This is the heaviest and weakest ive been my whole life. Im trying to take my life back and not feel so weak.
