  • The scale has not been my friend. I’m so close to my goal and I just keep going back and forth between one and two lbs to go! I just wanna reach that goal so bad. But this right here is exactly why I take progress pictures. I can see the progress even if the scale doesn’t show it yet. The first photo was June 5th the second photo was June 19th.

  • So recently I’ve been getting demoralized in my goal to become healthier. I have PCOS and part of losing weight is to improve my symptoms enough to get off birth control. Since I’ve been exercising regularly, my doctor thought it would be a good idea to try. It resulted in wildly fluctuating appetite and weight. My period was late, which made it worse as it meant PMSing for much longer, including really bad bloating. I’ve been mentally ready to give up. Today I finally got my period, only 2 weeks late when it used to be 3+ months late before I started birth control. I’m getting better, I just need to remind myself that this is just a bump in the long, winding road to my goal. So here’s a 24k steps day as I go onto my 2nd wind of achieving my get healthy goals!

  • A staple in my diet, an egg scramble (not a failed omelette!! Lol) it’s egg whites, 2 eggs, white mushrooms, garlic, peppers, tomatoes, avocado and a bit of ketchup. Usually I add spinach too but I didn’t have any. It doesn’t look like much but it tastes good. Sometimes for breakfast, sometimes for lunch! I usually share with my toddler. PTP
