We had the same starting weight, do you mind if I ask you how you managed to lose 5 pounds in one day? I'm just curious cause I'm having a really hard time losing any weight.

I did my initial weigh in at night and then weighed in the next morning. It's just normal weight fluctuations + a little weight loss + a little water weight loss I'm sure. I plan on doing my final weigh in at night, but I usually just weigh in the morning so that will be when I'm doing my unofficial weigh ins.

Make sure to stay away from high sodium foods and eat a lot of fiber/protein to keep you full. My favorite meal is a black bean quesadilla made with black beans (I cook a whole bag in the crockpot and then freeze in individual portions), marketside (walmart) salsa (only 55mg sodium), and some cheese.
