Hi everyone! What a dumpster fire of a year! But I am determined to end it on a good note. I got married in March right before lockdown and diagnosed with breast cancer a month later. After my double mastectomy, chemically induced menopause, and several rounds of chemo later I had gained almost 30 lbs. I ate what I wanted and since healthy food tasted horrible, I ate mainly processed junk. I stayed in the "treat yo self" mindset for a while. Now that I am a month post chemo, I have switched to detoxing all that crap food out of my body by eating as clean as I can and introducing yoga again. I plan to keep slowly introducing physical activity as I gain my strength back and begin to feel human again. I appreciate this app for the accountability!

So we're now officially a couple of days into the game. What do you hope to get out of this?

Weight loss and sharing in the pot is probably a given, but maybe some of you have other goals, or smaller goals to make this goal or a bigger one - I've found it's hard for me to think a month or more ahead - I will 100% wait until the last minute and then remember I can't lose XX pounds in 3 days.** I have good streaks where I'm focused for months on end, but then when I fall off the wagon I struggle hard to get back on.
I have to break it down into weekly or every-few-day goals. "I'll only have 2 sodas over the next 3 days" kind of thing. Or, even better "today I will drink 3 of my 32oz tumblers of water"

So - if you have any goals other than those of this particular game, it would be awesome if you're willing to share them! It can be anything from moving more to eating "better" to learning how to knit instead of stress eat (this is my current tactic, I'll keep you posted). :)

**I am able to play on my personal account, although we have some fairly strict rules regarding getting verified and I can't win any prizes.

I’ve done a first challange a month ago with good results. Would like to lose a bit more but especially keep of the weight I’ve lost which is always my biggest challange. Had a bad start this week, but eager to get on track again.
