  • Same school event, one year apart. I have slipped up a bit recently with a lot of vacations and traveling, but seeing this really made me feel a lot better.
    I have to keep in mind that although the number on the scale has gone up, it’s still a number that I couldn’t have imagined a year ago.
    All of my progress didn’t just vanish after a few weeks of eating/drinking and enjoying myself. It’s all about balance!

I'm not doing great but I'm not doing awful. Eating at maintenance calories or some below. Drinking more water but not my goal. Getting more steps but again not meeting my goal.

  • Hey y’all, I just wanted to come here and share how much I have loved being part of this wonderful and supportive community. I love seeing everyone’s posts and you all have really encouraged me. I don’t post about weight loss on socials or anything, and I figured that this is a safe space to do so. I am down nearly 40 lbs in four months and I am seeing so much change in myself the biggest thing is how happy I have been. Truly the happiest I have ever been. And a lot of it has to do with the positive changes I have made in my life; exercise nearly every day, drinking less alcohol, and eating delicious food that is good for me.
    I remember the thought of losing 50 lbs seemed impossible, and it was because I was not willing to change anything. I am so glad that I did.
    My clothes actually fit me (except my pants, I’m down a size!) and I feel SO confident for the first time in probably 10 years.
    Also, I got my jawline back!

I love tacos but recently I made this chili. It was so good. It was from allrecipes.com. I just seasoned it more and only had the red beans, I forgot to make black beans. But it was the yummiest chili I had ever had.
