Non-scale victory of the week!

My daughter graduated on June 8 and family came in from out of town. It was a whole LONG weekend of dinners and cookouts. I did really well with making good decisions about what I put on my plate. And when she chose an Asian restaurant, I did order a plate full of carbs but I only ate some of it and brought the rest home for leftovers.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Even though I did well during the family activities, after everyone went home and it sunk in that my baby had graduated and will be leaving for basic training soon...I had moments of emotional eating. I need to work on finding a way to deal with emotions without involving food.

My goal is to put 2B Mindset into action...completely, not just half assed.

Non-scale victory of the week!

I don't feel like I have a non-scale victory this week. I do, but it doesn't feel like it. I have resisted the urge of bad late night snacking. I haven't been feeling well, and when I don't feel well I sleep downstairs on the couch...right next to the kitchen. I have caved in a time or two but I made healthier choices than I would have a month ago.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Everything! Especially my water intake!

My weekly goals will remain the same for a while, I think. I need to continue to focus on my nutrition and water and tracking tracking tracking. I need to start doing a better job of meal planning and prepping though.

Non-scale victory of the week!

I'm getting a tiny bit better at resisting making bad choices. Not a whole lot better but some and that's progress, nonetheless.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

After being sexually assaulted in Nov, I've been living away from my husband. I actually moved back home to Indiana (I live in NC), to deal with everything I needed to deal with, with the help of my BFF, my dad and my son. This week was the week I came home to my husband and daughter. It's been an extremely stressful week and traveling alone (driving) was not fun or easy. I don't think I could've done anything better considea in the circumstances. I still lost weight regardless.

I am going to focus even more on my nutrition. I came home and the refrigerator and cabinets are bare. I wasn't exactly happy to find it that way but the good thing is I don't have anything to throw away and I get to fill it with all the good things I love and need. I am also going to start tracking EVERYTHING!And if I get to exercise, that'll be a bonus!

Stopping my bad eating habits and getting over injuries that are preventing me from being able to exercise!
