  • Good morning everyone! (I live in the Netherlands so it's 7.45 am here). Today I started the day with a run of approximately 5K (I kind of ran the wrong way with resulted in 250 meters less whoops). I signed up to run a 10K in October. I was wondering if you guys have any tips to keep it fun :)
    This is where I'm at right now and I don't run very often (yet). I want to start by running twice a week and then up it to 3 times. Have an awesome week!

You're absolutely right, covid does not help. However, I do want to feel the best version of me, and I know exercise, proper nutrition and healthy challenges will do that for me. I don't really have a target time, I just want to reach the finish. I now run 5K in approximately 35 minutes, so as long as I reach 10K within 90 minutes I would be very happy. Even if I don't make it, I will still be proud of having made the decision to run a 10K and I'd be grateful for the experience :)

My weight was approved last night so I am hitting hard this morning with recipes. Peanut butter blender mini muffins (doubled) and egg roll in a bowl (doubled). I’ll have leftovers and easy grab and go meals. I’ve also been pounding water which is super helpful while cooking all these delicious foods! Good luck everyone! (Recipes are from Instant Loss cookbooks).

I started a Diet Program the end of August, lost a total of 16 lbs., but took a break and unfortunately lost the motivation to get back on track. I'm hoping this diet bet will give me the incentive to get back on track to lose the next 16 lbs. for my goal!

    Welcome to all our new and returning members! I am super excited to have you here with us! Throughout the game I will be hosting fun (free, you do not have to pay the $5 membership fee to participate) weekly challenges where you will have an opportunity to win some awesome prizes!

    This week 4/26- 5/2 I challenge you to track your water intake every day. I challenge you to drink a minimum of 80 ounces a day this week Mon.-Sun.! I have tracked my water intake throughout my journey by writing in my planner, but you can use a tracking app, notes in your phone, whatever method you feel will work best for you!

  • WELCOME! If we haven’t met before, I’m Brittany and I am just stopping in to let you know how excited I am to have you join us for this upcoming challenge!

    Weigh-ins begin as early as the 23rd but you have up until the second week of the game to officially weigh in. I want you to know that there are weekly monitored weigh-ins hosted by Dietbet, if you have the membership, this is not required. However, there are two official weigh-ins that are required, the one at the beginning of the game and the one at the end of the game.

    As your host I enjoy creating weekly challenges with giveaways (cookbooks, gift cards, etc.) to help keep you incentivized and motivated so be on the look out for those!

First DietBet hoping it will help keep me accountable. In the past weight check ins with my PCP helped get me on track. The copay was $20 each time I went in. Figured this was a better option. Worst case I saved $5 best case I make a little money. Hoping for the latter.
