Has anyone weighed themselves on different scales and gotten different weights? I used a scale at a friends house and it said about 3 pounds less than at home.

Oh my goodness! Yes! I just went to the doc this morning and was so bummed by the weigh in. I actually took my sweater off bc I was so surprised by the difference. I seriously have to add 3-4 lbs on my personal scale to match the one at the doc office. It’s good to know and plan around it.

Sunny, my doctor's office weighs me about five pounds more than than at home too! I've worked that into my end goal, since I assume theirs is more accurate.

And yes, Rachel, that's why they say to use the same scale the whole time! So you have a consistent idea

Has anyone ever signed up for multiple overlapping transformers? I’m thinking about signing up for another one to keep the commitment motivation going, but worried I will drop off early. Basically, I see it as a 7 months goal with more money on the line, but wondering if that makes sense with the holidays. Curious to hear about other’s experiences.

I ended one Transformer July 1- where the last month (June) is supposed to be about maintenance. But then I started this one June 1, where the first month is one of your highest percentages of weight loss. Those are two difficult things to reconcile- at least for me. So while I won the Jan-June Bet, staying at my maintenance level, I didn’t make my first “new” weigh in today- it was tough to get my body back into higher weight loss mode. I kinda wish I would have waited until the first one was over, and started “new” on July 1, ‘cause now this girl has done catching up to do…

I’ve got multiple on the go, but only 1 transformer

It’s been nuts because I have been eating super clean and working out almost everyday for 3 weeks. I have allowed one cheat day per week and don’t go too wild. I thought the weight would just melt off since diet and exercise. But, nah! My body didn’t quite get the memo. I have lost some lbs, which is prob water weight and not as much as expected. I was on Daniel fast, but my doc gave me a lower calorie plan (starting today).

I have been feeling healthier even though it isn’t fully reflected on the scale. Just hoping to stick to this game and not slide off as usual.

Super frustrating. But keep going. Sometimes the body rebels against losing its reserves but eventually (probably this month) it will start to drop not only what you did last month but this month as well. You got this!!

Same here! I won’t be making this months weigh in unfortunately. I started half way through, but I feel like this heat wave we’re getting in western Canada has made me bloat up! I can barely get my rings off at the end of the day. Hopefully continued dedication can get me caught up for next month!

I'm turning 50 in 2 weeks. 2 weeks from today. I'm starting to give up on having the body I remember as a 16-year old runner, 17-year old black belt who did 2 daily workouts, and 32-year old Tae-Bo instructor.
Maybe I should let go of those comparisons!😂
Maybe I should remember to pick the kale from the garden and eat it instead of the flan that's in my fridge.
Choices, choices.
All I know is that yesterday I started with my best foot forward. I blended up some watermelon and a little lime juice, put some mint on top just like the pinterest article showed, and despite their claims, did NOT feel refreshed nor did I think it tasted exactly like summer. But today is a new day.
I'm gonna make my goal and all, but 50 is making me contemplate some real weird $h!+.....

Walked 31313 steps today in the rain and subsequent humidity. For nearly 12 hours, I couldn't tell what was rain making my clothes wet and what was perspiration. Happy to be back home and tempted to eat, but I'm going to skip the snack and go to bed. The lighter I get, the better these long days are on my feet.

I started working as a Security Officer at Six Flags in St Louis. I'm not motivated to walk that far as a matter of choice, but this summer job is really whipping me into shape. I'm going to try the Epson salt bath as soon as I finish rehabbing my bath tub. Any hints for how to deal with heat rash? Oh, and yes, I drink well over a gallon of water each day.

This January my coworkers started a diet bet for fun, I joined because I didn't want to be left out. I Started at 360.4, and since January I have lost 55 lbs. I want this win very badly. I've never had success like this, and the only thing I've been doing that I haven't done before is drinking a gallon of water a day. I also intermittent fast, do a safe low calorie & low carb diet, and really limit any processed food! It has been life changing. Good luck everyone :)

Insanely amazing! Thank you for sharing.

Vegan Dad

Thats amazing, I'm convinced removal of processed food is the key to success no matter what the diet is

  • This is what I’m doing to stay on track. I made a meal plan for this week. I’ve got a list of foods to include in my weekly meal plan. I also made a plan for meal prep and grocery shopping.
