Second to mindset, I think what we eat is the part of our weight loss plan that makes the biggest difference. There are a lot of popular food plans out there, and a lot of eating strategies.

What works for you? What has come the closest to being your favorite eating strategy for weight loss? For me, my greatest success has come from tracking my calories and upping my intake of fruit and vegetables. So what is your current food plan?

I do well with intermittent fasting. Allows for me to have a solid meal with the family without much restriction but keeps me in check with my calories for the day.

  • When it comes to sweets and treats, do you cut back or cut out when you are actively trying to lose weight? For me its easier not to take the first bite. However some people are able to satisfy their sweet tooth with small amounts of treats, like a square of dark chocolate. Which side do you fall on. In the long run a healthy lifestyle is easier to maintain if you practice moderation instead of deprivation. So what is your strategy?

Definitely can't have it in the house but I will get one serving of a dessert once in a while. It's better for me to abstain though.

I have pretty decent will power that I can have a bite or 2 and walk away. Now, red wine… I can’t have just 1 glass and that’s my downfall to calories.

I keep becoming stronger and helathier. Started this journey at 87 kg's now im at 75.5 kg's and im going to get to my goal weight 73 kg's in 3 more weeks. I feel helathy and strong and finaly achieved one of my long term goals. I found an healthey way of eating, sports that I enjoy and alot more respect to my self.💪

Strength training 3x/week and walking/running/hiking
