Weighed in about 3 lbs under goal... rewarding myself with a rest day and cheat meal but then my cheat meal turned into a cheat day. It was so yummy but so bad!!! I definitely feel sluggish and so bloated. Back on the grind 110% tomorrow! And avoiding the scale for a few days so I don’t get to discouraged!

  • Tempted to do the same, but I need to weigh-in for a Kickstarter in 8-10 days. So, I shared half a KIND Frozen bar with my mom. 😁 🍨 No regrets! But you're right, tomorrow is a fresh start! 💪

Has anyone switched scales during a diet bet? I just got a new one on prime day but I’m worried they will say something that it is different

I haven't switched, but I have 2 scales. The newer one is always .4 less than the older one, but the display is such that the numbers don't photograph well. I always submit from the older scale. Someday, I'll find time to play with my camera so I can use the better numbers (which are probably accurate).

I used to travel frequently before the pandemic and had to send pictures from scales I used while being abroad. It was never an issue. :blush:

  • Got a mile in on the treadmill. I shaved one minute off my time from Monday but I feel with my height, which is 5'10 and all legs, I should be faster. I've never been trained, does anyone have any tips?

Hey I used to run cross county and have some running tips. Try running with a weighted vest on ($25 at target) or ankle weights (but I personally don’t like ankle weights because the strain it puts on your knees) When you condition with the weights and run without you will have a better performance. Also be sure you are taking long strides

Run outside and find a way to track your time and miles. If you have to use a treadmill make sure you set your incline to 1. Start with being able to run a mile without stopping then slowly add distance. The key to getting faster and better at running is being consistent with it! You’ll get it... it just takes time!

    233 days til my wedding!
    Striving to hit by goal weight by then! Actually want to be there 1 month early for dress alterations and to be at my goal but we will see.

    25 lbs down so far.. 50-60lbs to go.

  • Work up with a major headache so took some Advil, got an ice pack for my head and layed back down instead of working out. BUT after a 12 hour day at work.. I followed through and made up my workout!! One of my highest “active calories” workout too!

  • My wife literally stay up all night to smoke this brisket for meal prep and it turned out AMAZING! Im trying to pair it with healthy sides but all I can think about is my homemade potato salad with fresh dill from my herb garden. Balance right?? Lol
