  • I am really struggling to keep eating healthy and right, especially on weekends! Right now it feels impossible to keep on track if I mess up on a weekend.... All my effort during the week goes to waste over the weekend, and then it's like I have never seen food in my life and I just stuff my face!!! 😭😱

Any advice will be appreciated as to what I can do besides lock the pantry cupboard and fridge and throw away the key?? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I'm starting to feel like I have real food issues... Like a food obsession issue... It's a nagging feeling in the back of mind the entire time...

I’d suggest finding a few things you think are tasty & healthy (for me grapes, blueberries, & lite popcorn) also suggest having a big smoothie in the AM so you’re full and hydrated before starting the day

Thanks to everyone who has given such great advice, ideas and tips! I survived my first weekend of not overdoing it. I had some sugar free chocolate on Saturday night but I did not go crazy like I did the weekends before...

What really helped me was trying to identify my triggers and why I want to overdo it. I didn't limit myself as much during the week either. If I was craving something, I ate it but I portioned it off and made sure it was within my allowed calorie intake for the day.

I also refused to drink one drop of alcohol this weekend which I think contributes to my not giving a sh*t attitude on weekends. That really helped me stay a little more strict with myself.

We went out for lunch with my mom on Sunday, and I only drank water and ordered my meal with a salad instead (I had to be very strong because they brought my food with fries instead of the salad - I did get the salad separately but the fries were on my plate the entire time . It's so weird how someone else might not think it's such a big deal, but it was nagging at me the entire meal, but I managed to send them back when I was done with my fillet.

I also tried to keep busy and tried to incorporate some activities with my daughter where both of us could be a bit more active.

I really appreciate everyone's tips and messages and I know how difficult this is, so I'm thinking of everyone who is struggling as much as I am and drawing inspiration from those who have more insight than I do. :hearts::hearts:
