    Let’s talk comparison. I know it’s something a lot of us struggle with, especially in the weight loss community.

    “Susan lost 5 lbs this week and I only lost .5”

    And you get discouraged and wanna quit. Or you want to be more extreme with your methods. Remember every single person is different. Comparing your weight loss progress to someone else’s is completely unrealistic and is going to do nothing but discourage you.

    We all go at different places. We all have different bodies. We all workout differently, eat differently, etc etc etc. You CANT compare yourself. Focus on you, how far you’ve come and be proud instead of constantly putting yourself down.

  • HAPPY MONDAY!!!!!! Starting off week 3 and I want to know what your going to do this week to push yourself!!!

    Whether that means an extra 10 minutes on your workout/walk, hitting a water goal each day, sticking to your meal plan, etc. What are you going to do this week to show yourself how capable you really are? STOP making excuses , STOP looking back and look FOWARD. If you’ve been struggling the first half of this DietBet, that doesn’t mean your down and out. How much progress can you make physically and mentally in the next few weeks? Not ONLY striving for that 4% goal, but striving for a better you. A you that is READY to make 2021 the year you don’t give up on yourself.

    My goal this week is to get 20 minutes on the stairmaster each day I workout ! I’ll be posting proof here to keep myself accountable. I want you to write your goal in the comments. I will pick one person to win a pair of Apple Air Pod pros!

I have 2 goals... my physical goal is to make a commitment 30 minutes of exercise 5x a week. My job is stationary and this is very important to me. My second goal is mental. I am trying to train myself to not focus on dates and timelines. Getting healthy isn’t a race. If it takes you 3 months or years, I need to make sure I don’t give up because all of those times I have up I would have crossed the finish line by now. It’s about a lifestyle change- not a race to fit in an outfit by a certain date.

  • Remember that while yes, the goal of this game is about losing that 4%.... I want you to have other goals as well. Goals that don’t involve the number. Goals that make you feel PROUD, confident, strong. Things that are going to set you up for long term success

    If you’re thinking this is a 4 week challenge and then it’s “over” you have the wrong mindset. This journey is never over. Built new habits that can help you sustain this weight forever. Have a treat here and there to build that healthy relationship and balance with food. Do we wanna lose the weight or lose the weight AND keep it off.

    Starting week 2 of the DietBet! How are we feeling? Even if week 1 didn’t go the way you were hoping, every single day is another day to do this. To do what you’ve been telling yourself you’re to do

    If not NOW then WHEN?! Get your meals set, move your body (even if it’s a 20 min walk), and STOP making excuses. The only thing standing in your way is yourself. Stop expecting perfection and just START. If you think you did something to “mess up” you didn’t. Excuse. Just KEEP GOING

My goal this week has been to keep my water intake up. I do really good when I always have a cup in my hand... last week I did 140 oz a day , just to keep me fuller and I kept busy. So this week, I am trying to keep up the 140 oz and add more walks.. it's getting warmer and the sun is shining, so an extra dose of sunshine is coming my way!! Good luck all with this weeks goals!!

Anyone else have no self control with chips and queso?! Last night my boyfriend and I planned to get dinner at a nicer taco place in our city. My eating was on point all day and I was intentional with what I planned to order - 2 chicken street tacos. Last minute my boyfriend gets an order of chips and queso. I swear I must have blacked out and didn’t awaken from my trance until all the chips were gone 😂😂😂. Oh well! Back at it today with my water and planning to move my body. Happy Saturday! Hopefully the chips and queso don’t get you too

  • I know the weekends can be tough for some, but remember to keep your goal and your why in mind! What will make you feel GOOD this weekend? What won’t. Don’t let the weekend be an excuse to eat whatever you want, as much as you want, and not move your body

    My challenge to you today is to eat meals that make you feel good, and get some form of exercise in, even if that’s a small short walk! And WATER!

    I’m going to make today a water challenge. Pick a goal and shoot for that goal! Recommended amount is 1/2 your bodyweight in ounces (so for example if you’re 200 lbs, your goal would be 100 oz)

Going to try something I know Felicia has talked about with the community.

I gotta go into work today (I normally don’t work weekends) and in exchange my boss is providing donuts this morning and lunch for the team! That’s great but I’m horrible at having 1 and not feeling guilty or taking more.

My plan is to have a small breakfast at home with coffee so I’m not super hungry when I get there and I already pre tracked 1 donut into my WW app with the rest of my day.

I’m allowing myself to have 1 donut because I want it and then I’m going to say no more and go about the rest of my day. Working on changing the mindset!
