Non-scale victory of the week!

I am working on portion control! I’m not using food as a comfort item when I’m upset.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I need to get back to the gym as soon as possible! Gym makes me happy and I CRAVED going to the gym while I was pregnant so I need to get back to that.

Non-scale victory of the week!

I am not only sticking to my diet but I am also loving it! Even when I went out to eat at a restaurant three times last week, I found something on my diet! At Olive Garden I got the Zappa tuscano soup and salad. At Rikenjaks I got the tuna steak with rice pilaf and steamed broccoli. And at Logan’s I got an 8oz steak with broccoli and I “treated myself” to some loaded mashed potatoes. I started running again last week! I even downloaded an interval training running app and it’s amazing! My bed time is 10pm and I went to bed between 7pm and 11pm every night last week. I’m finding that I’m still tired so I’m going to start trying to be a little more firm about turning off technology and the lights no later than 10pm.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I could have tried to go to the gym more. I was still pretty lazy about going but I’ve already gone twice as much as last week so I’m already making progress.

What are your goals for the upcoming week?

I want to make it to the gym at least 3 times and I don’t want to go an run every time! I need to start lifting weights again. I want to cycle a little more. Keep sticking to my diet (I have a great week of meals planned so I think that’ll be easy). Turn off the electricity at 10pm. I also want to start sticking closer to my alarm schedule. I plan out my days meticulously and if I followed that system a little closer I think it would work wonders for me.

Long-term goal weight

150 lbs

What do you find most challenging in reaching your long-term weight loss goals?

I love cooking and my schedule stays so busy that I often have to sacrifice being healthy for convenience. Like I’ll meal prep but then I need some sugar to keep me awake during the day or I’ll be so tired by the time I get home that going to the gym for an hour seems impractical. It’s a struggle of finding balance.
