Does anyone weigh their food? Have you found that it has helped you lose weight faster? For protein, do you weigh it raw or cooked? I bought a food scale but havent used it.

I weigh and measure everything I eat. Makes tracking my food easy and accurate. I weigh the protein cooked.

Weighing is superior to measuring since it's really easy to over measure and hard to over weigh. You can forget about reaching a certain number "portions" of an arbitrary size for each food type and think about the amount of food needed to reach your caloric goal. Using an app like Cronometer, My Fitness Pal, or LoseIt will help.

Weighing and tracking will open your eyes up to all those things you thought were good for you but are actually calorie bombs. You'll also see the massive volumes of veggies you can eat for just a few calories. Beware of sauces or other little goodies mixed in with your veggies otherwise you "healthy salad" is suddenly half your caloric intake for the day. ...all things I learned from weighing my food :)
