I've started making my own taco seasoning since the commercial stuff probably has a lot of salt and sugar and who knows what. I use chilli powder, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and ground cumin. I can't tell you how much of each because it is different every time, I just shake some in! Half to one teaspoon maybe of each?

Great words. :) I always do the resistance thing as well. It's like I can't allow myself to be happy. I read a book by Marianne Williamson and it really helped me break through some of my mental barriers. Good luck to you and your journey.

What I've just come to realize is not that I sabotage my efforts--which I do--but the real reason has just come to light. I don't like THE CONTROL that changing to the new lifestyle requires. For years, I ate what I wanted when I wanted as I maintained the extra weight at a certain level and now that I am trying to get healthier, I fight the restriction of that. Interesting!!! More exploration to come about that. I've still got 5 months to go on the Transformer
