I see there are a lot of people on this dietbet who like weighing themselves every day.  I've always been under the impression that we shouldn't weigh ourselves everyday, because our bodies fluctuate wildly day to day, but others say it is a really good way to monitor how we are getting on.

Confusion reigns! (as is often the case in health and fitness)

I weighed myself yesterday as an 'unofficial' weigh in and kind of wished I hadn't now, as I am sure it has lulled me into a false sense of security.  Perhaps it is better to wait until the official day so we can concentrate fully on our diet/fitness regime without thinking that "oh it's ok, I can treat myself a little as I'm already down 2lbs" or whatever.  Dangerous thinking!
