So I went to my first Bikram hot yoga class since I stopped regularly going two years... And boy was it a challenge!
I came adequately hydrated but carrying 10 extra kilos of fat on my body since I last did it made it much difficult than I thought. But then again anyone would've guessed that it wouldn't have been easy, except for me... naviety, much?!
Although I sat out for many poses (I skipped almost all the Locust poses and I didn't even attempt to do Camel pose as I felt like I was so close to passing out at that point), I'm glad that I went.
As the reverend Bikram Choudhury says himself, 'You're never too old, never too bad, never too late and never too sick to start from the scratch once again.'
